First time trying Holy Hog and it pretty good BBQ place. Nice and clean, comfortable place to eat with family or friends. The staffs were nice and very helpful. Service were fast. The food was very tasty. We ordered BBQ chicken wings, burnt end, Havana sausages and BBQ chicken sandwich. Decent choices of side dishes and we ordered potato salad, signature coleslaws, fried corn, and they were all fantastic, very fresh.

Got the four meat sampler. Excellent burnt ends and brisket. Smoked turkey was really good and the Havana Smoki Sausage was good as well. The jalapeno mac and cheese was sport on. Real mac & cheese and not boxed like all faux bbq places out there.

I want to give this place 5 stars but the Sweet potatoes were nothing but oil. BBQ was great, The sweet tea was rotten tasting. The Mac & cheese was too hot ( spicy). It’s not bad just not 5 stars.

I recently started going there and really enjoy the food. Try the pulled pork and sweet corn fritters. The staff is exceptionally nice, I mean noticeably, exceptionally nice. The restaurant is always clean, the prices are reasonable and the portions are good. I do wish they would give you more BBQ sauce with takeout, but I’ve forgotten to ask so that’s at least partially on me.

I’ve eaten at three different holy big locations and this one was my favorite. Employees were super friendly and helpful. Everything was delicious and fresh. I usually, have one thing at bbq places that isn’t perfect but all of the meats were perfectly cooked. The only thing that could have been improved is the sweet tea. I think it was a Lipton mix.

My husband and I just ate here. The food was fantastic. My husband had some ribs, brisket and sausage and I had the brisket. Also had the green beans and mac and cheese. All delicious! The place was clean and the service was even better. We will definitely be coming back often.

Will never go to the North Dale Mabry location again. While the food is always good the service is so insanely bad it just isn’t worth the time. Ordered online, drove 20 minutes and as I am pulling in they call to tell me they don’t have either meat or desert I ordered…. 20 minutes later! Then i waited 10 minutes inside of The store with no other customers there before anyone even acknowledged me. This is the second time in a row I have left disappointed. The first time it was also slow, and the two workers behind the counter joked around and told stories while taking forever to put my to go package together. I felt like I was on candid camera it was so obnoxiously disrespectful to me, the only customer in the store. While great food is half the equation the other half is caring about your patrons. South Tampa location is 100% better and management needs to take a good long look at those they employ at the North Tampa location. I will not return
