What a surprising treat. We found ourselves in O’Neill for the night. This was great sophisticated food. Good flavor, nice potions and I will definitely stop again if I am driving through. And the peach cobbler they had for their dessert tonight was amazing!!

Everything was really good. Our deviled eggs were fantastic. The homemade chips were a bit overdone, as they had a burnt taste to them. My classic burger was wonderful, cooked perfectly. My husband had the Sriracha burger, he did like it, however, the aioli overpowered the faint taste of Sriracha… Maybe kick it up a notch on the spice. The ambiance was very nice. We loved the different salt and pepper shakers. Our server was very friendly.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars; this place was great!! Stopped here on a lark on a Nebraska road trip, and this place had everything. My burger was one of the best I’ve ever had, and my wife’s panini was also phenomenal. The staff pampered our three kids, giving them whole coloring books and a bucket of crayons. My 2yo is still asking about “my new friend” (our waitress) two days later.

Cute little cafe in a neat building. The burger was so good, and their chicken panini was pretty good too! Try the cheesecake! We had the lemon blueberry and it was phenomenal!

I had their French Dip sandwich, and it came with home-fried chips. The cheese on the sandwich is a nice touch, but the chips and au jus really push the salt content of the meal. I’d recommend asking for an alternate side dish. Otherwise, great decor, great service. Give the deviled eggs a try – they are delicious!

Chicken fried chicken was two lumbs of dry hard crusted chicken with a teaspoon of gravy, Garlic potatoes had no garlic and a teaspoon of gravy. Wife got veggies with hers I got non. Salad was to have cheese, tomatoes and croutons, came with lettuce two rings of onion and two ends of a cucumber. I ordered french dressing, waitress came and said, “out of french hope thousand island is ok” and walked away, and never came back. When you go to the bathroom you will see why the food is what it is.

Megan has Holt County Grill perfectly established to serve as your hometown favorite away from home. Be sure to stop in on a Wednesday when they’re developing new deserts and utilizing the patrons as taste testers! Of course, every night you’re in town (Tuesday-Saturday) you’ll find new delicious reasons to keep coming back!
