Although we were both skeptical, after reading several favorable reviews, we we went ahead and purchased our tickets online. Onboarding was easy but we didn’t need to get there 30 min early. There is a mad rush on the bar at the beginning as people first board the boat but eventually, while underway the bar is empty and you can easily be served by waiting.

The music was great. The food was delicious and plentiful. The tables and chairs were comfortable and the dining area was air conditioned. Service was pleasant. We wished the sound system was better so we could hear the captain giving the tour of the lake better. Our party had people from age 12 to 82 and all enjoyed the ride. Highly recommend!

I went on the ferry ride today. You get on and either are up top or on the bottom to start. You have assigned tables, wether some people can handle that or not is the thing. The thing I will never forget is the food. Barbecue chicken sandwiches, wonderful fruit salad,meatballs,chips. For dessert, it was either cake or cheesecake, and I got the cheesecake. It may have been too rich for some people but wonderful for me. Great variety to choose from. The views are great, while you are relaxing on the ferry. For the price I would say well worth it. I paid 60 dollars for one ticket, and went with some family friends. It was great. I cannot wait to come back with a friend.

We absolutely enjoyed our time on the Holland Princess. You get to take in some magnificent views on both lakes while mingling with other folks onboard if desired. We thought it was a little pricy but ultimately worth it for us.

If you are expecting a large party boat this is not it. But if you would like to take a nice little cruise for dinner it is perfect. The food was nice and had a good variety. It felt like home cooking. It has a Deck for a beautiful.

It was fun even though we couldn’t go out in Lake Michigan because of the weather. We enjoyed the trip around Makatawa was fun and we enjoyed seeing the beautiful homes. Lunch was good and entertainment was outstanding!
