This time a culinary journey took place at Hoku’s Kahala. It’s an elegant and refined, yet comfortable and relaxed restaurant, where exquisite flavors and impeccable presentation came together to create an unexpected dining experience for us. We had a 4-course tasting menu and everything was truly divine, because here we didn’t find food, we found a culinary artwork in every plate of food we had.

Amazing food, staff, and location! We went into Waikiki to one of the top rated restaurants the night before and it didn’t even come close to how amazing hoku was! One of the best meals we have ever had!

Good experience. Brunch on Sunday gives you delicious lobster tails and crab. One beverage is included and can be purchased for extra cost if you need refills. most of the buffet items are only ok (dry or sitting too long) Sushi and poke sides are good. Worth the experience – I don’t recommend booking after 12 because you will be against the time limit as they pack up at 230 sharp. Book ahead book early so you can get in.

Enjoyed the Sunday brunch today, might not go every time but highly recommend to try once, the musubi and butterfish was the best, nigiri and sushi was just ok, others all good

The view and the service is great, but the food comes pretty close. It’s open and tables spaced far enough apart that it feels intimate.

Service is top notch at Hoku’s. We felt like our servers were friends we hadn’t seen in a very long time. The food was very good as well. The atmosphere and view of the ocean were very nice. A little expensive for the food that you get, but that is to be expected in Hawaii. This is a fine dining experience that shouldn’t be missed.

This was the best dining experience I’ve ever had. The team was so welcoming and friendly. You could tell they work as a team and everyone enjoys what they do (from the waitstaff to the bartender to the kitchen and management).

We went for the Sunday brunch buffet and the food didn’t have much flavor and was bland. Our table was outside and there were a lot of flies.

We had a lovely and special dinner here on our honeymoon. We did the 4 course meal and everything was so delicious, especially the ravioli, short rib and desserts. We also had a beautiful sunset view and thoughtful and attentive service throughout. We can’t recommend highly enough for a special meal!
