The food here was amazing, especially for the price. The portions are quite large, too. They were also very quick, we had out appetizer within 10 minutes and our food within like 25 minutes of ordering. I will definitely be back, its my new favorite sushi place for sure. My only complaint is we had to ask for refills, but they were starting to get busy and I only saw 1-2 servers so I wasn’t that upset given the amount of work they were doing.

Was out in Michigan City and needed a bite to eat, and decided to stop in to Hokkaido Sushi Restaurant. While sushi isn’t really a go-to for folks on a plant-based diet, there’s plenty of other options on the menu that can still satisfy that itch!

The food was pretty good and seemed fresh. We had sushi and a seafood noodle dish. My wife ordered another seafood noodle dish to go and when we got back to the hotel we found out they did not put any seafood in it. The price was reasonable to me but they add a service high charge without telling you before hand. We had already left a 22% tip in cash and got charged about 20% to my card.

I am so deeply happy to have found this Sushi bar. The setting, while somewhat small, has everything you could want. Came in around lunch time, was greeted by a very nice waitress. She was on the ball the entire, very attentive and helpful.

Small setting but very worthwhile. Ended up here because limited parking at entended location was full. So glad this hapoened. Very good servicevand food was excellent. Fried soft crab was EXCELLENT and a generous portion. Also tried CrabRangoon some different sushi and the seafood vegetablestir fry noodle and everythingwas very good. Beer was reasonably priced. Great choice if you are in the area.

This was our first time here. We got sushi rolls and tempura chicken for our young kids. The rolls were good and the portions were nicely sized. The dining room was nice, clean, and not overly crowded. The service was fantastic. Very likely to go back.
