It located very close by o 1-87 exit. The service is good and the waiters are very polite and friendly. There are so many rolls to choose from. Also, there are cooked dishes too. I can always ask for no spicy mayo on the sushi roll.

Great service once you get seated. Food is tasty. Atmosphere is cute, better if you sit inside but outside kind of stinks.Feel like the organization of the tables outside could be better. Typically a wait. Staff can be absent at times.

This place is amazing! Super cute atmosphere, they have indoor and outdoor seating. The sushi is SO DELICIOUS AND FRESH! I had the black dragon roll and the green dragon roll, the eel is sooooo good. I can’t wait to come back and try the unagidon. Affordable, delicious, super friendly and family owned. Stop by for a roll!

A small corner restaurant, hard to find but once you have the food, you will be amazed. Ate Sukiyaki and Spicy roll dinner for two. It was more than enough and it is absolutely a different experience. It’s authentic true Japanese cuisine.

Hokkaido is in a quiet side street off the main drag and very pretty in a natural setting. Not a big space so it feels intimate. Food is fresh and tasty. Staff is friendly even when we sat pass the closing time. The court yard is great, weather permitting. Special mention is the Hamachi Kama, Salt and pepper broiled yellowtail collar part (Limited Availability) which is excellent with so much meat. Will go back.

Ate here Nov 20 2022. Prompt service. Fantastic and attentive servers. Decent prices. I got the miso soup, Gyoza, sweet potato sushi, and the Tribeca sushi roll. They were all fantastic. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves. Give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed

excellent. one of the best restaurants in New Paltz. food is consistent, delicious, reasonably priced and generous. We’ve been coming here for 18 years. The owner is gracious, and the service very kind and professional. The atmosphere is special, and there is ample outdoor seating.

My experience has been getting worse here over the years. Dining in to wait an hr and a half for food. Today, second time in a row ordering out to realize they forgot items. And the rolls seem to be worse quality than years ago. Hate writing a bad review, but my experience requires it. Hope they can turn it around. Sushi Tokyo is around the corner…

Excellent sushi place! The fish was extremely fresh- even when we rolled in at 9pm. Wait staff was greet and the decor is absolutely wonderful down to the details in the bathroom. Great outdoor patio area if weather permitting. Would definitely recommend!

My son and I came here to celebrate Mother’s Day for an early dinner. We arrived at 5:30 and ordered our food immediately. Although only 3 tables were occupied, we waited over 40 minutes for our food. The waiter was rude and seem annoyed that we asked why our food hasn’t arrived after 35 min and never once asked if we needed anything else. My tuna looks off colored but didn’t spell bad so I didn’t return it. A couple came and sat next to us and their food came 5 minutes after they placed their order. So, service was rude, food was subpar and the worst part of my night of celebration, I had DIARRHEA all night long. How do you served bad raw fish at an establishment? Will NOT come back here ever again.
