The hogzilla is a foot long smoked sausage. The sausage had a natural casing and the grilled onions and peppers on it were nice and tender. The Carolina style bbq sauce was a little more sweet than tangy, but it still had a good flavor. The staff and service was spot on.

Service was slow! Took approximately 40 minutes after we ordered, for two hamburgers with fries and a 5 piece order of chicken wings to arrive at our table. Food was hot, but not so good. I was told the wings are usually really good. My friends who had the burgers said they wouldn’t order one again there. Our server was good. From order to food, not so much. It was not real busy. I will give this place another try in the future. The atmosphere and vibe is good.

Food was amazing! Server was good. The kitchen was disorganized. Server was attentive and kept us informed about our food. We ended up waiting over an hour for food (that was straight off the menu, nothing special) for 4 people. My only real complaint was it was a tight fit. There was no room, people kept bumping into us or our table. Lighting was bad too, very hard to read the menu. Will I ever eat again? Maybe, but it not worth the drive out here….

The food is amazing. It is the best food in South Eastern Indiana. The best bergers I have ever tasted. Wings are are better then any of the big chain restaurants. The service is terrible. It takes forever to get waited on. On take out orders, you have to wait 3 times as long as any othe “sit down” restaurant around here. I have never actually gotten everything I have ordered on a take out. Always missing the drinks or the side orders.

Had a fabulous birthday at Hog Rock today! Chef made me grilled shrimp, which I love. Green Beans with potatoes and ham is great. Tastes like old southern style. Homemade cole slaw is great. Made my birthday special. Great waitress also. Thanks chef!

Salina was very attentive… Great service! The smoked turkey is very good. Poultry can be difficult to smoke, but their was moist and tender. We highly recommend it. Nice collection of bottles of sauce on the table _ Carolina, Kansas, hot and spicy, and Original. They start getting busy around 5 pm, so arrive a little earlier! There are two entrances; the left one is for the restaurant, the right one is for the bar. This place is a hidden gem favorite!

Definitely one of my top 5 favorite Bbq restaurants! Ribs were moist, tasty and falling off the bone. Wings were crispy but not dry and the sauce was not overbearing. All sides were seasoned to perfection and complimented the meats. Do yourself a favor and be sure to eat at Hog Rock Cafe!
