Good local place for adequate BBQ. No additional sauce was available for my sandwich. Tables were fairly close together making conversation difficult during the lunch hour.

Hog Leg Barbecue: Dinner tonight was hands down my favorite. BBQ, turkey, ham, ribs, sausage, pulled pork, beans, Mac n cheese, potato salad and tomato summer salad. Outstanding. The food came out quick and hot, best hospitality around. If you are hungering for bbq this is the spot.

I’ve tried different items over the last few years, but HLB has outdone themselves with their Smash burger. Like, I crave it for days before I let myself go get one because if I don’t, I’ll be there every Wednesday through Saturday to get my fix. Pulled pork, tacos, nachos, chicken quarters (no longer on the menu but they were also sooooo good), baked beans, fries, heirloom tomato salad (summer only, but also super crave worthy), conecuh, the Thanksgiving burrito (OMG sooooo good)… Not one bad option. Oh, and the sauces….the gold and red are my favorites: I actually like them mixed. Great service, too. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

We LOVE this restaurant! Their food is fresh, delicious, made in house (including the pickles), and well worth the price. I almost always get the pulled pork sandwich but everything is amazing. The sandwich plate comes with one side and a sweet. The cowboy beans pair very well with it. The brisket melts in your mouth and the lemon drop pudding is fantastic! This place should definitely be on any list of places to try!

This restaurant has the best food creations in the south. From the seasonal options like the thanksgiving burrito to the smoky chicken and pork. Pair these with fresh homeade pickles and sides. Don’t forget to finish it off with sweet banna pudding or my favorite warm bread pudding. Very helpful and friendly staff.
