We first BBQ our extra-large wings until fully cooked but not too much. Then after flash chilling them we take an order and toss them in a Fryer for 4 minutes. The fact they are cold when fried allows them to quickly crisp up but not overcook or dry out. Sweet Tea Smoked Chicken BBQ, is one of those great accidents that we never regretted. This came to us as an idea and we perfected it, we take sweet tea and make a brine of it, then brine our chicken for 6 to 8 hrs. Afterwards we add our rub and smoke it for 4 hours in hickory on our custom Stumps Smokers. With the sauce always on the side. A real savory mild smoky tender Chicken sure to please. Real Texas Brisket BBQ: Don’t let anyone tell you that Texas isn’t the best for Beef Brisket. We Texans practically invented it. Our Brisket is smoked in a traditional Austin Texas manner where it’s slow cooked and bathed in Hickory smoke for up to 17 hours then set out to rest for an extra hour to catch its breath and rest. Starting off with a bit of a trim, our briskets are rubbed down with our special hand seasonings to assure that great Texas taste and that real dark bark that Texas Brisket is known for. Half way through the cook we wrap each brisket in butcher paper to preserve the moisture and that beautiful Bark. This is our signature dish by far! Texas: where Brisket is King!

This location has a relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly staff. The service was prompt and I felt like I was talking to good people. Everything appeared very clean and organized throughout the building. Parking was on a gravel area, but hardly an issue or concern. They have a small and simple menu, but great choices in food. I really enjoyed my meal, time eating, and felt welcome.

This is my first time here and the food is outstanding. I’ve been all over the US, and this is true southern food. The owner is from TX. The meat was cooked just right, and corn pudding was great. The second photo is called a “Fried Twinkie” a jalapeño brisket wrapped with cream cheese and bacon. I liked the food no doubt about it, though the Price is $$ pricey. They charge you by the pound. I’m not complaining, but I believe they should implement a side and serve platters. Great food and friendly service!

walked in to pick up my online order because no one would pick up the phone to take it over the phone. no one was in the establishment when i went to pick it up the i finally see someone and they said my order was complete and in the counter. then when i got my order, food was missing and the pulled pork i got was super dry i could barely bite into my sandwich and the bread was hard as well. please do better!!!!!!!

Tried this BBQ place today for lunch. Did not disappoint. Got greeted as we went in and were told about the special of the day. We got some pulled pork (with bun), brisket (with Texas toast), potato salad and Mac and cheese. They have a little sauce station were they had utensils, sauces and pickles.

The most amazing BBQ place I have ever visited! Very inviting atmosphere and wholesome good people. We met Daniel and he was so friendly and sweet. Told the whole history of how it started and I’m so thankful to have them in our town. Love to visit places that have great food and even greater people. The chicken wings were so crispy and juicy on the inside. Ribs were fall off the bone and dont even get me started on the Carolina mustard sauce! This place is definitely a go-to stop and gonna be a regular for us. Thank you so much Hog-It-Up and keep up the amazing work!!
