We had been to Hodel’s before for Sunday brunch and this time was really good! The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful. Our wait person was attentive to our group of 10, and had a good sense of humor. Parking is free and plentiful. Price was reasonable for the food. Thanks for a great family brunch.

We go here on Fridays for BBQ night. All your BBQ favorites for one low price. Ribs are amazing. All you can eat. Corn bread is second to none. Their mac and cheese is creamy. Definitely try out their enchiladas. They hasve this amazing Habanero bbq sauce. Can’t wait for my next visit.

We just love Hodels. Such a great place to go to with my family and to know they have something each on of my kids love to eat. And not to mention that it’s all you can eat which isn’t a bad deal for a mom of boys. I love the omelettes, waffles, and the fresh orange juice they serve. The country brunch is a good way to spend my Sunday. It’s a must place to go. Would recommend Hodels to anyone!

❤️A must try in Bakersfield!!!! This is REAL COUNTRY GOURMET. I feel like it’s almost worth the drive from LA! Flavorful choices that screams yummmm in your taste buds!!! Thick bacon , fresh homemade breads n bagels, omelets, fresh hand breaded chicken daily, orange juice etc etc Price is very reasonable and very spacious. No long waits. Fully staffed and very cordial waiters. Sufficient parking on site. Sundays the brunch menu has everything FYI

I ate here on a Wednesday afternoon to try the chicken fried steak, mashed potato’s, gravy and biscuit. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. Lots of salad bar, deserts and hot lunch items to choose from. By far better than the Vegas buffets.

Hodel’s is a five star experience. What’s more important than food? Hodel’s serves Good American food and plenty of it. Don’t show up with Jenny Craig or any other diet guru, Hodel’s is not for the faint of heart. I’m having a difficult time finishing up this review because I keep stopping to day dream about my next visit!

This place is super good and easy for a quick bite, or to hang out a little longer. We came for breakfast. The potatoes and waffles were probably my favorite here, but the cinnamon rolls are also seriously delicious. They have scrambled eggs out, but you can also order an omelette or eggs over easy, or however you want them, which is really neat. There’s a whole fruit bar, yogurt, granola, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, all sorts of jams, melted butter and hot syrup for the waffles, whipped cream and strawberry sauce, muffins, cupcakes, cobbler, and a mushroom-sausage stir fry. This place is definitely a great deal, the price is unbeatable, and the food is very very delicious. The staff was really friendly, and the restaurant overall has a really nice, country ambiance.

Worst customer service, rude lady that took care of us for a Celebration Of Life. The manager who I talked to started slamming the sliding door on us. Paid for 80 people, only 48 came, served buffet for 45 minutes and they started closing the door. I asked to speak with the manager but no service recovery done. Instead more rudeness came from them. Disappointed because the intake Manager named Amanda was so nice and told me 2 hours for food to be served. But on the day of event it was less than an hour. I paid as soon as I booked, 5 days prior to event. I will never return to this place ever again.
