This man took me and my cousin in, off the streets, years ago after a brutal and unforgiving hike at Clifty. Come to find out, it was a cash only establishment. We slowly started to walk away in defeat, but Eddie told us to stay right where we stood. He gave us some pork he had left over for free….he treated us like real human beings and I’ll never forget nor be able to repay him for that act of kindness…sure we went to an ATM afterwards overpaid him by 300% but that act of human kindness will live on with me for the rest of time and THAT is priceless.
