The Local Guide
Cheese steak was chewy, chopped steak on a soft long roll, not a lot of cheese. Fries were good and the Tuna Hoagie was lacking Flavor. Only one person working and was fast with service. I would have liked a seeded roll and I should have asked to have the sandwich cut in half.

I ordered lunch special cheese steak with fried, 3 stars it was chopped and a little chewy not enough cheese flavor and I personally enjoyed seeded rolls. The fries were good you don’t need to add salt it has plenty. We also had the Delaware (tuna ) with American cheese lettuce, tomatoes and onions. The tuna was lacking flavor but overall not that bad of a hoagie. The place is small only 2 tables to sit and eat. Cook was friendly and service was pretty quick for only one person working

Got a roman empire cheesesteak with garlic bread roll. They really deliver with the portion size. You get your money’s worth here. My sandwich was loaded. The other reviews are right the sandwiches are hard to pick up. The steak quality is ok but you get soo much that it’s hard to complain. The roll was falling apart. The toppings were also decent. When I finished the sandwich there were enough fillings that fell out to require a fork to finish it. Felt like there could be more cheese but overall I was really happy with the quality and quantity of this sandwich. The fries were ok. One order feels like just enough to serve two people. I’d order more if you’re hungry. Tons of sandwich variations to try. Probably one of the best spots for a steak sandwich around Levittown.

I haven’t even tried their food yet and I won’t be, since I just had the worst experience of my life at a restaurant. I went to pick up an order for someone and the child that’s working at the front was extremely rude for no reason. He told me at first it’s going to take a couple more minutes so I said sure no problem and went outside. I came back 6 min later and was standing in front of the desk in the corner right next to the fridge waiting patiently even though it’s been more than a couple min and the child says to me you got a couple min you need to move with a really rude tone that even the cook looked at him like what is wrong with you and looked at me smiling . Please train this person because there was absolutely zero reason why this boy couldn’t politely ask me to move over even though I wasn’t blocking anything or anybody.

First thing I asked is if they had sharp provolone. He said that’s all we have. I thought that to be odd because most ppl don’t like sharp provolone, and if that’s all they had you would smell it throughout the shop. So, yeah, they don’t have sharp provolone. Generous size sandwiches. That aside, it’s just another sandwich shop.

The BEST sandwich shop around. Big servings, loads of great tasting meat on the hoagies/steaks, and awesome appetizers. Don’t listen to the jokers that post mediocre reviews from multiple accounts (Carl). Highly recommend Hoagie Xpress!!

Very pleasant staff. Great hoagie. Been trying the area for a good place when you get hungry for the old Italian hoagie. This is it!

Hoagie Express Levittown PA. I went for the deep fried cheese steak and stayed for the Roman Empire cheesesteak on garlic bread roll. Holy mackerel! I just looked at my receipt, $8. $8, no wonder the Roman Empire collapsed you can’t sustain an Empire on $8. I really liked this Cheesesteak, I love it now. What I didn’t like, It was hard to pick up. I’m still thinking about the roll. There was a lot of homemade marinara and juice coming off of this Cheesesteak so I don’t know if any roll could have held it together. I wouldn’t pay the $1 for the garlic bread roll for the Roman Empire because it has a lot of flavor. I think the dollar would be well spent on a more simple cheese steak. They had Hanks soda and the people couldn’t have been nicer.

The best hands down. Always fresh delicious and consistent. Not over priced and great customer service. I’m surprised the line isn’t out the door.
