The food and service is very good. I’ve been looking for a good Jamaican spot around here for over a year now, and I’m so happy to have found this place with my coworker. Trina’s margarita hits the spot. The Rasta riggies are also heavenly. Definitely would recommend HK to anyone looking for good food, good drinks, and good vibes.

Great place for authentic Jamaican food with reggae music to match. First time I had sweet plantains and coconut shrimp, both of which were fantastic. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the coconut breading was very fresh. Sweet plantains were crisp on the outside and done on the inside. Went back for dinner w my daughter and we had jerk and brown stew chicken. The sides were rice and beans and cabbage cooked with carrots and spices. Don’t be put off if your food isn’t steaming hot- that is the way it is served “slightly above room temp” according to online sources. Love Red Stripe beer-light and refreshing. Hope this place stays busy so it will be around for a long time!

Food was good drinks were good! We had jerkchicken Mac and cheese ,brown stew chicken, salmon ,sweet plantains, and coconut shrimp. I had a guava martini and jumbo punch I think it was called. I do wish my chicken portion was a little bigger for $18.

We really enjoyed meeting up with a friend at this restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and our food was delicious. (I truly think it may have been one of the best Mac n cheeses that I’ve ever had! Highly recommend.)

I got the jerk Mac and cheese, wife got the chicken and waffles. All was excellent and the chicken and waffles were frankly some of the best I’ve ever had. Bartender was delayed due to freak weather and the owner stepped in and gave us some drinks to sample that were just as good, if not better than the meal. Rum punch is A+++. Please stop in to try even if it’s a cuisine you’re unfamiliar with. The place is clean and staff are welcoming.
