Good food in a cool historic building. Service was a bit spotty as our server wasn’t told we were there and it took a trip to the hostess stand to get us waited on. But overall that wasn’t a deal breaker, just a miscommunication. They have a good menu and interesting martinis and cocktails. Scallops were delicious. We’ll definitely go back.

Great place, busy on a Saturday night! Samantha was our server and she did a wonderful job! Dinner was reasonably priced. We had the beef tenderloin special, 5 petite filets on a garlic toast, with mashed potatoes and a veggie side, salad and bread included! 38.00. Also had the flounder, with a lemony sauce with a light egg batter. Also came with mashed potatoes and a veggie and a saddle and bread. 29.00 for this entrée! Both were delicious! Outdoor seating, a great bar and a nice dining room. This place has been around for a long time.

We visited for lunch. We started with the soup … corn chowder with crab. Amazing! One of the best soups we’ve ever had. We both had salads for our main meal … huge serving size and delicious! Our server was great! Overall, great experience…

Yet another awesome place for dinner. Great service great food and great overall experience. If your looking for a night out with your better half or have a big party this is a great sport. They have smaller tables on the first floor. The second floor offers you a bigger space for a private party.

I was up visiting my hometown and my best friend and I decided to try a place we’ve never been before. It was a great meal and we were able to hang out and catch up. Drinks were also very yummy.

The menu was filled with many great choices of seafood, steaks and veal. Our server Luna had an engaging personality. Our first time here and look forward to returning.

Pricey Clams Casino okay. Bread okay. Salad okay. NY Strip Steak done way beyond medium rare, had no taste and tough as leather. Mashed potatoes pasty. Overloaded the plate with fried onions. Bottled beer good. Service good. Spouse had tasteless veal and decent schrimp. Nice place but won’t be back. Better places to spend $10O.

My husband and I have been to this restaurant several dozen times including during covid when they were struggling. Recently, our experience has gone from pleasant to awful due to the change in a manager, Gina, who is the owner’s daughter. She presents as the hostess in an unfriendly, arrogant, rude manner and gets a pass for being the owner’s daughter. What used to be a friendly, charming atmosphere has changed dramatically due to Gina’s lack of people skills. Buyer beware.

Extremely disappointed with The Historic Piper Tavern customer service and attention to detail. I called to make a reservation for July 6, got their voice mail which indicated for a reservation to leave a message with the details and they would get back to me. The voice message also indicated they were open on Thursday as well as their website confirmed this. Didn’t receive a call back but after our show in New Hope we traveled to the restaurant for dinner only to find out they were closed for the week. Wasted trip and time. Disappointing because we hadn’t eaten there for quite a while but always remembered it was very good.
