I was absolutely blown away by how amazingly tasty and healthy this food was. The Hippie Plate was extremely tasty and filling. I’m so glad to have found a vegan place in Atlanta. This is definitely my new favorite restaurant.

I’m not vegan but I like trying vegan food. I ordered the (konjac) vegan shrimp and the (impossible) beef. I enjoyed the food but the beef was literally the BEST PART! So flavorful!!! I loved it!

We had gotten recommendations to go to Hippie Hibachi more than once. We finally caved and came here for dinner and we were not disappointed. We had pretty high expectations coming in and our expectations were blown away. It’s not too hard to find Vegan food at Chattahoochee Food Works but it’s definitely hard to choose something other than Hippie Hibachi in the future.

Some of the most talented chefs in Atlanta! The way they can transform a fully vegan ingredient list into an all too familiar meal is unbelievable- they taste exactly like their meat counterparts, but obviously cleaner and fresher. They are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and provide an excellent meal. They are also very fast to serve despite being busy and small. I cannot wait to see what this tiny little corner turns into, because this feels destined to be huge and transformative for Atlanta’s cuisine. Pay attention to them and expect big things from this team.

I found Hippie Hibachi while I was looking for gluten free food in Atlanta. I was so excited to find out that everything they make is vegan and gluten free! I got the mushroom fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to make another trip!

Very friendly employees! Super quick service. The food/protein tasted…. interesting (in a positive way), especially the shrimp (somewhat very chewy) They had an issue with their credit card reader and they were very apological and were able to eventually charge my card by entering it manually. Would recommend and love to try more food from them.

The food was essentially good. It was a bit salty, I guess the base is teriyaki, but I didn’t think to ask. The down side is that everything was already prepared, so the food was only barely more than warm. I don’t think that even the health department would approve. I walked only 12;feet before I started eating. I paid about $16. But not considering the high rent of CW, it should only cost about $7.50 tops.

I give it more of a 3.7, portions need to be doubled for price of tofu dish, or at least add more veggies and rice. Great location in nicely appointed food hall. The cashier was agreeable, but they need to offer more food for the price paid. Tofu had a delicious sear and flavor, good tasting mushrooms and vegetables.

Every time I get it the consistency is not there. The first time I had it, I loved it and for 20+ dollars it should be perfect every time. Everyone that’s black who works at this establishment is extremely nice and has exceptional customer service. Unfortunately the young lady with the curly hair that’s always in a ponytail I’m sure you will see her she might be the owner or the manager but she absolutely has NO customer service and a big reason as to why I will never order from here again. I simply asked for teriyaki sauce and she stated that I could purchase it it would’ve simply cost her nothing to put some on top of the meal considering I paid so much for it. It’s the simple things that makes a difference and keeps loyal customers. My partner and I have probably spent over 200 in this establishment for my various trips to this market in a month or two. I cannot eat the rice or finish the meal without the sauce. Without the sauce it is extremely dry and bland. It also looks nothing like the pictures in my opinion. For my images below I definitely stirred it up but when they finish adding the toppings it just did not give that appearance as I was looking for and the taste was not the same.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and so glad I went. I had the Atl DiningOut Passbook and was able to try both the faux chicken and shrimp dishes for thr price of one. My favorite was the chicken dish with all the toppings and extra sauce of the side. Everything about this dish was beyond delicious, fresh and flavorful. And to top everything off, the Majestea bottled tea was super tasty and black owned as well. I can not wait to return again!
