Very cute spot. Sushi is fresh and delicious, and for very affordable prices. I’ve ordered from here several times now, and the food quality and overall experience has been great! They have several tables for seating, and apparently also BYOB so I will definitely plan on coming back with some friends. Really warm environment, staff is super friendly and attentive. This place is a gem and my new go-to for fresh sushi & apps. I recommend the red & hot roll if you like spicy options.

I came across this spot to stop in for a quick bite. I ordered over the phone of the spicy ramen lunch special and it came to about $8.54. When I arrived I parked on the street and walked in. The place was small and cute. The man making the sushi greeted me and the lady asked to help. I told her my name and she pointed to where my food was. It was only the ramen but I thought miso soup came with the special. The lady told me no just the ramen. I paid with my credit card and left. When I got in I dug in and I will say its pretty tasty. They could of went without the one dumpling they added but besides that I did enjoy.

Hands down the best suahi place in NJ or.maybe even NYC based on the craftsmanship and artistry of the owner and chef master. I have eaten at over 100 sushi restraints from Japan to Canada and all over USA and rate this top 5. Try it yourself and be surprised.

I moved up to NJ from Miami almost 4 years ago with a college friend. We have been going to Hinari since we got here in 2014 we live about 10 min away.. It’s our go to sushi spot. It’s run by a wonderful couple, the sushi chef is the husband and the waitress his wife. We’ve come to get to know them over the years they know our usual orders and how we like things. We’ve tried pretty much all their special rolls. The sushi is always fresh and great quality I’m going to miss this place once I leave. I love that they don’t charge extra for spicy mayo and eel sauce, I don’t go back to places that do. Lol. If you’re looking for a nice, calm atmosphere with smooth jazzy music and excellent sushi come here!

I ordered two spicy Japanese ramen there. While I got instant noodles which u can buy in any supermarket. Even the soup is 100% made by water with instant ramen seasoning. Very shocked! I always get delicious Japanese ramen with good-quality broth in different Japanese restaurants. This is the one I definitely won’t go again.

I’ve been a regular client here for quiet a while. they deserve this review. A couple works here. They are so sweet, genuine, great customer service, efficient and the food is amazing! Always asking how my family is each visit. I love they’re sushi and they have the best teriyaki chicken I’ve tasted. Love it here. I recommend.
