The service was good and the food was AMAZING!!! BUT the prices were ridiculous!!!! $18 for chicken and beef Teriyaki!!! PLUS they charged me for the to go bag…$5.99 plus tax for fried rice to upgrade from white and $7.99 for 2 egg rolls!!! Pocket check!!! but I’m willing to go there for their weekday lunch specials! All in all I still highly recommend this place! The chicken and beef with rice was on point!!!!

I have found my new favorite place for teriyaki! The place is so clean and the interior is beautiful and vibrant! The people are so sweet and friendly. Oh and the food is A-mazing! The sweet and sour sauce we had with our crab rangoon was so incredible that if I had a spoon I would have slurped it all up! Not joking. I’ve had the garlic chicken (forgot to take a picture before I ate it all) multiple times and it never disappoints. Their sushi is top notch and makes my tummy so so happy. If you’re in Kent you NEED to come here for all your hunger needs!

I’ve been living in Kent now for 3 years, and I have been searching for a good teriyaki place close to home. I FINALLY FOUND IT. My daughter and I were walking home and decided to check it out (it was also close to school). I ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box. It took about 15-20 minutes to be ready, which I do not mind at all because that tells me they are making it fresh. Admittedly, after getting our meal, we stopped at a bakery two doors down and were there for roughly 10 minutes. THEN we finally walked home (another 10 minutes). On the way home, I mentioned to my daughter “I hope the sushi doesn’t get mushy and the tempura get soggy” when I opened the bag, I discovered everything was packaged separately! The sushi was so tasty and fresh. The tempura was still crunchy and had a great variety (onion ring, broccoli, mushroom, carrot, eggplant and shrimp). The chicken was cooked perfectly, still juicy. And, the tempura dipping sauce was amazing. The salad was also delicious, and the steamed rice was perfect as well. The miso soup was good, I usually hate tofu but theirs was good.

I love Himitsu, they’re food is great, but come on, not being open for dine-in when it’s completely legal to do so is just a slap in the face. Those who are on lunch break or in between errands don’t want to eat in their car and dont have time to bring it back to work. Go down the street to Kings Teriyaki, they’re open for Dine In.

This is the best teriyaki in the area. Their teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, and chicken Katsu is what I enjoyed on this meal. All of it so tasty. The owners are friendly and generous as their portions show. My family used to own and operate a bakery next door and we would eat himitsu often and never once, in eight years, did their food disappoint. EVERY time it was great. Their spicy version of teriyaki, I think they call it “night train” or something is also really good. Now we stop by only occasionally because we aren’t so close…but I wish we were. You will not be disappointed here!

I like that they picture their finished product on their menu board. I am a visual person. Employee taking my order was pushy and short with me. The amount of food vs the price was great. I had the Chicken Takaya and I was not disappointed, it is Wednesdays lunch special and it is amazing! I will eat here again.

This is the teriyaki I’ve been craving since I cut gluten out of my diet. Wish somebody would open a restaurant where I could buy this in my home town.
