Wonderful little spot for some amazing food!!! We tried the lunch specials and the butter chicken entree. It was all so great. Loved the Lamb Takari and Chicken Chilly. We also tried the Badami Naan. It was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient as well!! Will definitely be making the drive back soon.

So what used to be Al’s Cafe is now Himalayan Sherpa Cuisine. We order butter chicken from a lot of places, and this is the best we’ve had. The chicken has a great texture and wasn’t rubbery at all like some other establishments. The price is reasonable and the staff are super nice. A great addition to Carlsbad village! 5 Stars!

The food here is so delicious, we loved everything we ordered and the service was wonderful. Best naan I’ve ever had, hands down, the soup was so fresh and flavorful and the lamb korma was amazing. I’d give 10 stars if I could. They newly opened and this will be our new go-to for dinner, no question. Eat here and enjoy!!!

I came between lunch and dinner still they took their time to educate me on their country and food. I am Armenian and Noone likes lamb because it is usually cooked wrong , not here. I had #2 and#44 it was delicous. I will try their lunch this week.. I hope they are successful and stay 4 a long time. I was told this is not their first rodeo ( not in those words) another restaurant in Encinitas. Interior needs an update (but give them a brake its only been 3months since they opened) Nice location and wonderful people. Enjoy!

First time here. We ordered takeout and really liked the veggie samosas. The lamb was tender and delicious in the Lukshya Ko Masu entree. Service was friendly and quick. We plan to return soon.
