Very tasty breakfast! Three really thick pieces of French toast, over easy eggs, hash browns, and bacon. I was really pleased with the food. Bacon has crisp edges with chewy bites. The French toast was three 8″ squares of inch thick bread, maybe even brioche cooked to a golden brown. The hash browns were typical diner potatoes, needed salt but were at least cooked through. Service was excellent and attentive. Decor was dated but meticulously clean. For our first time there, i was happy with the experience overall!

Stopped here on a long drive and let me tell you.. best Belgian waffle I’ve EVER had in my life. I couldn’t even take a whole picture of it because before I knew it I had almost finished it! On top of that- wonderful service. Beautiful ambience. But I’ll probably think about this Belgian waffle for the rest of my life.

My friend and I visited Hillsborough Star Diner on a whim one Sunday morning. Once we arrived we were seated immediately, and the place was really packed with patrons. Him and I ordered omelettes, home fries well done and hot coffee. The omelette was incredibly delicious and the home fries were seasoned incredibly well. One thing I noted was the plate and mug the food & coffee came in were all heated – so the food & drinks were able to retain their heat for longer. It’s such a small detail but it makes all the difference when it comes to how the food tastes over time as one eats.

Went here for Easter dinner. They were very patient with us with two of us arriving later. Waitress was very nice and attentive. We all loved our large portions of food. Prices were good too. Would definitely go again.
