The food and service are excellent at this neighborhood, north side bar and grill. Great Friday night fish fry, very light batter not greasy at all with a nice creamy coalsaw. They have other specials during the week. Promt service with a busy bar. Drink prices are very reasonable. Very clean and well kept. This was not my first time here, and it won’t be my last time! I was so hungry that I forgot to take any pictures. Next time!

We stumbled across Hillbilly’s en route from Rochester to Milwaukee for a quick dinner but stayed for a few hours for the fun – pull tabs, bingo and friendly people. The bartender was so welcoming and sweet – we didn’t want to leave when it was absolutely time for us to hit the road home.

Fantastic place on the island, a little hidden gem. People raved about food, we didn’t eat but had bloodys that were amazing. Very fun atmosphere, highly recommend a swing in for a couple beers and grub!
