Hill Country Smokehouse catered our wedding in Bertram in April and from start to finish it was a wonderful experience! My husband and I went in for a tasting and we were treated like family by Lino and his wife. Our wedding was almost a month ago and our guests are STILL talking about the barbecue! My husband and I, and our guests, were also very impressed with how smooth, quick and easy the buffet line went. Everything was perfect! Damn good brisket and the jalapeño sausage was top notch. I had a feeling it was going to be good when they didn’t even offer me bbq sauce. The coleslaw wasn’t too sweet and the beans were flavorful and creamy. Best bbq I’ve had in a while.

If you want some of the BEST TEXAS BBQ come to this old fashioned, great smelling establishment!!! It sits right off the highway to Marble Falls, and is a perfect example of Texan hospitality and mouth watering smoked meats. I cherished EVERY bite!

The best breakfast tacos I have had. Chorizo / beans / bacon cheese on grilled tortilla!! Dipped in homemade hot sauce! Then I had the chopped baker with smoked jalapeño cheddar sausage! Lots of places offer loaded baked potatoes, but this by far is the best one! Homemade bbq sauce completes the baker!

I love their ribs and moist brisket but their Baker potato with Spicy Chopped is a weekly thing for me and my wife gets hers with Brisket. Boys get the 3 meat plate with double mac and just love it.
