Ordered on the phone and picked up in person. Food was ready by the time I arrived but was still hot and fresh. The chicken was the best part, properly seasoned throughout season with a well fried batter. Only giving 3 stars because the biscuit was a little more on the hard side and I couldn’t eat the mashed potatoes because they had an awful flavor (like bitter melon).

The chicken is awesome regardless if you get strips or on the bone . The chicken strip’s are huge . Way better than Popeyes or any other place around here . Service is great . Everything I’ve tried there is awesome .

Let me say first I have never been anything but overly satisfied with the food. But the service I received the few times I have gone is deplorable. The lady wasn’t nasty or anything but her interactions with time versus other patrons would have you questioning “why.” I mean just tossed me my food and receipt. No smile. I inquired about prices for catered food and her attitude was one of “why are you still here?.” I’m never going back there again. Crazy because my daughter loves the chicken sandwiches. Like never ever again. If I wasn’t packing to move tomorrow, I would’ve asked for a refund. But my daughter was already looking forward to here food.

Highway Chicken serves excellent fried chicken. Their fries are also very good. The prices are excellent. If you like fried chicken, their recipe is slightly spicy and different from other chicken restaurants. Service is fast. I highly recommend Highway Chicken.

I would give Highway five stars just for their efficiency. This is a two person operation and they crank out quality chicken and seafood much faster than that “other” fried chicken place down the road with ten people. This place has one guy working they fryer and one woman running the register, boxing up orders and taking phone orders all at the same time. Oh yeah. The food is delicious, too. I’ve had the fried shrimp and the fried fish. They’re always cooked to order and ready in 5 to 10 minutes. I don’t know anybody else around that does to go seafood that’s good and also this fast. Prices are pretty good, too.

What’s the fuss all about? The fried chicken had a foul smell, which means it wasn’t properly cleaned and marinated. The hot wings were tiny and soggy and really didn’t taste good. Go to Popeye’s instead. Nothing really special about this place and the staff was kind of rude.

Not a huge fan of the chicken fingers, but the spicy fried chicken is pretty delicious (and the biscuit). You’ll stink like fried chicken if you wait inside too long, but I guess that is a good thing.
