We loved this coffee shop. Great coffee drinks, fantastic country style sandwiches on thick delicious bread, and really friendly employees. Lots to look at, some great jewelry and decor items for sale. Very cozy with tables and couches, we could have stayed for hours chatting with the owner who was just so friendly and willing to spend time chatting with us about pretty much everything. Next time we’re in the area, we’re stopping by again.

I frequently have lunch at Higher Grounds and really enjoy their variety of sandwiches and baked goods. I’m pleased that they generally offer more than one type of soup each day to provide a bit of variety. All of the employees are kind, attentive, and pleasant. They know their customers and really go out of their way to treat them well. My baby shower was hosted here months ago and I am still hearing comments from out-of-town guests about what great food and beverages they enjoyed and how beautiful the interior of the coffee shop is. There is a great loft space with couches and a sitting space that is wonderful for quiet conversation. I will note that it seems to be a Christian coffee shop, as there is generally Christian music playing in the background, but no direct discussion by staff that I have ever encountered (I know that can make some folks uncomfortable). I definitely recommend this great place to anyone.
