I would give 4-4.5 for a few things to point out compared to other BBQ places. Purple cabbage coleslaw with lots of poppy seeds tastes very light and crunchy. Not sweet or vinegary. Collard greens are tangy too small in portion and very large rough cuts. Brisket was very lean. Mustard sauce was better than sweet bbq sauce. Bbq Nachos were good but got too cold for me. Corn bread was a bit dry. Very clean and well maintained. Family friendly and feels welcoming and they came around to check on everyone. Everything was delicious and definitely homemade so will visit again when we are in the area again.

Stopped for lunch on the way to Georgia. Very friendly people to serve and prepare the food. Ribs and Brisket were good. Ribs tasty but not ‘fall off the bone tender ‘. Potato salad and greens were different and tasty. Corn bread very dry. Sweet tea was good. We sat outside. Inside area was very cute and super clean. Worth a try!

Great food! Great experience! My husband and I stopped in last night and will be going back on Saturday. We had pulled pork and ribs. Nicely seasoned as is or add one of their tasty sauces. Trying the brisket next. Oh and all of the sides were terrific too!

Love it!! Best rib ever! My husband said this is better then bbq we had in Tx! Kids loves it as well. I am glad that we stop by here on the road trip! Now we want to drop by when we go back home!

So I got the brisket plate. The portion of meat was more than significant (enough to make 3 sandwiches), the flavor was decent, the meat was a little dry. The main issue is they need to learn how to cut brisket. It was cut into chunks and 1 inch thick slices. I would have rather had less meat cut properly than more meat cut this way. This is not conducive to putting on a sandwich. I had to pull the meat apart by hand myself to make a decent sandwich. I also only got enough sauce to barely make the one sandwich. The Mac and Cheese was very good. The cornbread was incredibly dry.

Stopped by with family over the weekend while passing through. We let the person taking our order know we had never been before and he kindly took his time explaining and recommending items. My under 2 yr old nephew was with us and when we asked about a kids menu they kindly stated they didn’t have one but made great suggestions to appease a toddler. We all got different sides with our bbq plates and shared them among ourselves. The real stars were the potato salad and the three bean salad. As for mains the pulled pork was moist, the Dino rib (pretty sure that was the name) was very juicy/tender and the brisket was flavorful. The couple of misses for us were the mac and cheese and the cornbread. The mac had some flavor but was very coagulated and not very cheesy. The cornbread was unfortunately very dry. Overall it was an outstanding experience and everyone we encountered was so nice, inviting, and pleasant. I plan on many trips back when passing through to try more items from the menu.

Well sometimes you just know God is blessing you more than you deserve and today was one of those days!! This is my first time eating here and oh my I found my new favorite BBQ place!!!! We tried the pulled pork and brisket and both were absolutely amazing!!! And the icing on the cake was they had HOME MADE peach cobbler that was like I haven’t ever had before and it came with ice cream that just really put it over the top!! This is worth the drive no matter how far you have to drive!!!!
