So first off the food is pretty good. It’s not fine dining but it’s good down home cookin’. It is an unbeatable value. The service is amazing. You won’t be waiting on drinks or refills or anything. They have so many options depending on the day you come in. If anything is wrong the staff is extremely quick to fix the issue. I would say that this is the best little restaurant in the area. It’s located in a state park so if you love history or nature it’s the perfect place to eat and have a nice morning or afternoon.

I had a very unpleasant experience due to rude staff, cold fish and I found an ant in my glass! When I asked when the fish would be refilled I was told they do not replace items until the tray is empty. That alone makes me question the freshness of the items not to mention it is a potential food poisoning hazard. Seriously, these people are extremely unprofessional. I will say that I did have a pleasant interaction with one of the kitchen staff. She is a older woman with brown hair and glasses, I did not get her name but she was decent. She was by the stuffed pepper casserole and said she thought it was good. She treated me with respect and Bobbie was ok too.

As always, a big fan of the state park system. They have eliminated a few items from the buffet, but it’s still a good meal. They also serve alcohol now for those interested. Sorry, forgot a picture of the dessert table!

Great options, fresh food, excellent salad bar with bonus options! Short staffed, but service was great and servers had a wonderful attitude, considering!!! Will definitely be back!

We stopped for dinner and were not disapointed. People are exstramly nice and helpful. If we had a complaint we like to see more options that were not fried. Make sure you stop in for the seafood specail but get there early.

We visited during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the food was delicious – especially regional specialties like the Kentucky hot brown and the fried green tomatoes. Service was friendly and fast! Beautiful setting.

Came out of my way for a buffet but it’s only 4-7 everyday but Sunday. But the staff was super nice and understood us not eating there. Would come back one day if we have extra time again.
