This little restaurant has the best grilled cheese in the United States.. the french fries were hot and the tea was delicious. I just don’t get to eat here as much as I would like. I would highly recommend this for a quick meal

Long standing place to get great & really good price Southern style breakfast & lunch. My brother & I had country ham, grits, eggs, biscuit, side of liver mush & coffee. Portions were very generous & tasted soooooooo goooood!! Waitresses were so friendly. I highly recommend this for a great meal!!!

Went in and sat down the waitress took my drink order and NEVER did ask me if I was ready to order all she wanted to do was stay on her phone. I finally had to tell her I was ready to order. I don’t believe I will go back there.

The people were awesome. The food was lackluster. $7 for the hot dog special: hot dog was generic and small, tots tasted like the oil was old. I hate to leave a bad review because the people were so nice, but that’s the way it was.

The best breakfast in Hickory and the surrounding area. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious. The service is pleasant, quick, and courteous. Drinks were refilled multiple times without asking. The atmosphere is amazing. It has an old school diner vibe. We have gone there multiple times and have never been disappointed. Also the prices are inexpensive compared to any place else.

I stopped in today and to my surprise I probably had the best hot dog in all of Hickory. I can not wait to go back and try something else to see if it is just as delicious.

Good Experience, wish they would serve breakfast later than 10:30. I had a Burger and onion rings. The food was solid in the staff were nice.
