WOW!! Food and service are absolutely amazing! Local art pieces hung beautifully on the wall was the cherry on top. Highly recommend for anyone driving through! (Pictured is the whole grain oatmeal, blueberry bagel, and strawberry smoothie)

There is a sense of a Hospital food environment but the food is clearly not that type. By this I mean it feels like a hospital kitchen set up, with little personality despite owners, customers, and food that tells a wonderful story. There have been few times I have been wowed by the food but underwhelmed by the environment in and of itself. The prices are fairly average and the customer service is good, but this place could really be taken over by some better decorum and environmental changes.

I am always pleased by the food when I come here. The ladies working here do a great job and are super friendly. It is never busy when I come (only 1 or 2 other tables) and that may be because it’s a Sunday morning before 10. Overall, if you want a quiet place to eat your delicious food, this is the place to go.

Half way between a restaurant and a McDonald’s. Omelet ok, bread very good , potatoes a little too long being cooked. After we ordered we saw the placard on the table for 4 different seasonal choices not in view before you order. 11:30 am on Sunday and we wanted a dozen bagels to go and they were out of plain and had 4 sesame left.

Had a great lunch here today. This place is super clean! We loved Atlanta bread, but I think Hickory Bread is even better! The food was great and the service was fast. All the employees were very nice and can answer any questions you have. The menu is exciting, pastries looked amazing. I highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. We got pretty basic meal for 2 adults and 2 toddlers (who shared a fruit bowl) and it was $40.

Ordered a sesame bagel with cream cheese lettuce tomato and avocado took a bite of my bagel and there was no cream cheese on it. Went back in there like oh it’s in the bag it’s on the side I didn’t ask for it on the side I got it to go because I am driving . In the future when you sell a product tell people how it differs from the normative. When things are to go it should be ready to eat when you get it. Or they can tell you before you leave cream cheese is on the side. I’m not here to make things myself I paid this place to provide that service. Whenever I’ve ordered from any other place I’ve never had to assemble it myself. So I will not be coming back.

While I love a good local restaurant, Hickory Cafe still has some challenges to overcome. The decor is modern and minimal, I liked the local art features. The cleanliness is very good. The staff were polite but I didn’t feel they went out of their way to be courteous. There was nothing creative or particularly outstanding about the food. Keep working at it guys, you’ll get there.
