*update* now the owner responded – if someone orders online, you CAN NOT pay until you add a tip. Anyone can try it, which is why I paid in person. Secondly, no, I will order wasabi because I give it to my boyfriend. Why would you squish it together? Maybe do a better job. And thanks for not addressing anything else like the nasty hair in the bad or the spilt soy sauce. This place is going down hill and it’s obvious.

This has been our go to takeout place for years, and we were regulars. It was one of the best. Unfortunately, the quality has gone way down within the past 6 months or so. We understand with Covid, there are likely supply issues and maybe they are using new suppliers. Maybe they have a new chef. They have raised their prices (again, understandably) and decreased quality. The food is no longer fresh or consistent. It’s sad. I really wish they would devein shrimp, and as you can see in the photo, they don’t (never). We haven’t given up on them yet and just don’t order as much, hoping soon they can get back to serving the food they once did. The owners are really nice people, and we are rooting for them to turn it around. Until they do, just be aware that for the price, you may not be happy with the quality of the food.

Prices are fair, food is fresh, and service is fast. I ordered pork goyzas, maki roll special which included the Boston and New York roll. I also tried their hibachi chicken fried rice which was also really fresh with varied veggies like zucchini and generous pieces of chicken. I have been here a couple of times now and have enjoyed the different dishes I’ve tried. They don’t have dine-in, you can order online or call it in. Parking is a bit tough to find on the main street but I’m usually able to park in the side streets. It’s a nice place to grab lunch.

When did shredded Salmon become SASHIMI? Owner continues to think SHREDDED SALMON IS SASHIMI? 3 paper thin pieces. Just give 1 normal slice for customers who pay $30 for 5 orders. $$$ Unprofessional to keep justifying bad presentation.

Waitress and staff very friendly. Nice atmosphere. But the food ugh. We got the hibachi steak and shrimp. Comes with soup salad and rice. The clear soup was fishy and porky at the same time. The fried rice wasn’t normal fried rice I can’t even explain it but at the same time it was the only edible thing. The salad dressing was meh…. the 4 shrimp were good the steak was so tough and chewy and grissly inedible and everything was smothered in a thick gooey sauce. Will not be eating there again idk how they stay in business.

Delicious and fresh. Best part of the evening was the friendly service. We stopped in close to closing and when we realized that we were going to make alternative plans. The staff greeted us with kindness and hospitality and we enjoyed a great meal , because of their flexibility. We’ll be back for sure. . .

Everything was passable, nothing was fantastic (maybe the salad dressing was surprisingly tasty). It was ok – It felt a bit if a case of you get what you pay for – the rice on the rolls were very sparse. The salmon for the hibachi was sliced pretty thin and the shrimp were a bit small/textually sad and coated with some sort of starch. The sweet potato tempura also had a weird texture and the spicy tuna roll had large chunks of something kinda hard? Maybe like “tempura crunch”?
