This place has changed names and management so many times. I like this new look of open space. The food selection is not that great, but the taste is not bad. I have an issue though when a Chinese restaurant messes up a noodle dish, that is a red flag for me. The Singaporean-style noodles was soggy and tasteless. I’m sorry. The hot tea was quite hot, I know my mom would be very happy with this. Otherwise sip slowly and at your own risk. I originally started the review with 2 stars but I gave it another chance and went for a second round with food choices I did not get at the first go. Chicken wings had a light and crispy batter and was still juicy inside- so good. Their charbroiled chicken was good. Cooked how I like it- charred. The seafood bake also good. For the dessert options- my fave was the sesame ball with red bean filling and fried plantains. The soft serve is minus the creamy texture, it’s actually icy. This was good with the fried sugar donut. Pizza was gummy, but dip it in the ice cream and it’s a whole new experience. Parking was adequate although I’ve experienced in the past it could get busy being that this is located in a plaza shared with many other businesses.

Food is delicious, but it is not warm enough. I wish it will be better if there is not much MSG on fried and fried . You must try sushi . Fried shrimp is good. Sweet and sour fish is good. The prices is reasonable for the food. $17.99 for all day Sat and Sun.

Food is ok. Watch when you order soda – it is so expensive!! That is another way they get customers. #1 Big problem is: the place is too warm !! We complained about about the temperature inside the restaurant and Manager or Woman in charge keeps saying – it’s been adjusted, but temperature still stayed the same! So uncomfortable to eat ☹️ I guess they just ignored the complains about the temperature inside so that customers would leave and would eat less from their buffet ?

Okay I’m going to be very honest.. The food was cold and over salty. Sad to say my pictures look better. Maybe back when they first open but come on now.

Food is good, service is very good the main reason for the negative review is the fact that they don’t have the a/c on. We went for dinner and it was sooooo hot that you had to wipe the sweat from your face while you eat. They have fans rotating to provide air flow and believe me you would look forward to it as it came in your direction. You could hear most of the customers complaining about the heat.I think they keep it that way so you don’t stay too long. The employees even said that they always get complaints and can’t do anything about it because management controls the thermostat. If you enjoy eating in a sauna this is the place for you. Even though we enjoy the food and service I refuse to eat in a sauna. You Have Been Warned!

Had been to the Hibachi Grill West Covina yesterday, 07/30/23. Food is very good compared to the old management, not so sweet -just perfect. But DO NOT GO THERE DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. Owner/management do not turn up the air conditioners! Temperature is too hot despite the big fans blowing! A lot of customers complained and owner/manager said she increased the air conditioner – but I donot think she did because the temperature inside the restaurant did not change! Eating was very UNCOMFORTABLE! How can you eat and enjoy your food while in a sauna? Is it a new management tactic to drive their customers away after a few minutes, so that customers avoid consuming more foods from the buffet counters? Just wondering! We like the food, but we do not want to suffer & not be able to enjoy it!

Nice selection of food. Seafood selection has shrimp (boiled , breaded fried, shell on tail, whole shrimp), chicken (fried, grilled, baked, sweet & sour) . Fries, pizza, fruits, vegetables. Crab legs and more. Has a sushi bar. Along with a grilling bar with meat and vegetable selection where the chef cooks your selection for you. Remember when cooking for the masses, it can not be seasoned to much. Which some people can not comprehend. The do have spices ans sauces to enhance your dishes or even chili to spice it up a few notches. Service was good. If you want something to go. They charge you by the pound. Parking lot is on the smaller side. So it can be tight. Pricing is reasonable for the selections you have available and the amount you can consume.

This is a buffet in Hong Kong Plaza, the traffic is very convenient, the parking lot is not big, because there are many businesses, the parking lot is slightly crowded. The style of this buffet has western tastes as well as oriental tastes, especially Japanese tastes, and there are many delicious sushi. There are many customers at noon, but the front desk clerk is often not at the bar, probably because it is too busy at noon. The price is not expensive at noon, more affordable.

Lots of choices however pricing was confusing. Difficult for 1st time visit. No explanation of how they charge plus table was dirty even after they wiped it down(dirty rag) soft shell crab still had hard shell on them, nothing was labeled…. And not enough staff
