I haven’t been here in 2 years so I was excited to go. I was disappointed with the quality of the food. My ragoons tasted like it was refried not fresh. The shrimp in my hibachi was so mushy and the salad was okay. I have attached pictures. Yes it looks good the taste part fell flat though. I really wanted to enjoy the food I was used to.

I eat here a few times each month. The dining area is clean and decorated in the beach style. The food has always been good to me. I usually stick to the Hibachi chicken and steak when I eat here. The staff are somewhat formal acting, but at least they don’t fake being overly nice like some places. The service is good with reasonable wait times. The prices seem to be a bit high for lunch but everywhere else is high too. Recommend.

Love love love their create your own Poke Bowls. Always fresh, delicious and filling. I’ve never had a bad one yet. Give them a try and the Thai Tea is yummy also. Now I don’t care for their sushi, fried dumplings or the Crab Rangoons it’s to sweet. But the Poke Bowls are definitely a winner.

This restaurant is by far the best sushi restaurant on the beach. It’s always so fresh and delicious. They have amazing lunch specials or you can get two sushi rolls and a drink for $10.95 or you can get three sushi rolls and a drink for $13.95. During lunch you can get hibachi for $12.99 a plate. Their steak and salmon hibachi is out of this world. Cooked perfect every time. All of their sauces that come in souffle cups besides the Sriracha are homemade. They have the best crab rangoons on the beach as well. I asked and I found out that they make the crab rangoons from scratch there. This place has food for everyone. If you don’t like seafood you can get steak and chicken . If you’re vegetarian or vegan they have options available. If you have a gluten allergy they make things gluten free if you ask . The staff is second to none. I have been coming here since they opened 5 years ago. The reason why I keep coming back is lisa. Every time I come in she always remembers my order. And I’ve been coming ever since. They even deliver so you don’t have to use those meal delivery services. I always recommend this place to people who come here to visit. Can’t wait to eat here again!

Update: Got a call from the owner & the delivery service is a 3rd party vendor. She apologized & offered a gift certificate for my issues which I declined. I will pick up my orders since this is one of my favorite places. I’ve always enjoyed Hibachi Express- it’s clean & the food is great. I ordered online from Hibachi Express- I agreed to pay the cost of hibachi chicken, egg rolls and the $5 delivery plus a 25% tip & tax. 20 minutes from my estimated delivery time, I got a call telling me now the egg rolls were $1 more and the delivery fee was $1 more as well- did I still want my order! This is not good business practice. I doubt I will order delivery again.

They ask for a tip amount upfront before you place your order. Waited over 30 minutes from the time we were to arrive to get our food. Tips are for good service more than they are good food. I wouldn’t have left a tip for service if I’d know how bad the service would be.
