No one cooks with gloves in there. I saw a worker pick up two cups of shrimp with his fingers in the cup and with the same hands that were in the cup he picked up a hand full of vegetables to put in a bowl. Then turned around with the cross contaminated and started cooking it. Nothing was washed, not even his hands. I usually wouldn’t say anything about these type of things that Happen in a restaurant but as someone that has a seafood allergy…this is actually very unsanitary and there is a lot of cross-contamination happening in there. When I noticed I asked the owner did they cook with gloves and she said “what?” With a slight attitude and i repeated my question and she said “No.”

The food is good. It’s typical fare of an inexpensive, walk-up counter style Chinese/Japanese restaurant. Nothing fancy, but always consistent and made to order. The portions are large and the staff is friendly. The edamame is always perfect, and I recommend it as an appetizer.
