We went here for my husband’s birthday. There were a few bobbles, but overall everyone got full and had a great time. The food was good. Initially, I was disappointed because the chef didn’t do some of the things you associate with a hibachi experience, but then, at the end, he made a huge volcano! The portions were large, and several of us took to go boxes. We enjoyed our visit.

Use to come get all the time. Decided since we were on that side of town today to have dinner there. There was 4 of us in our party.Waitress was very nice. I ordered the Vegetable DINNER and my Grand daughter had to kids chicken & vegetables. This was my entire plate. Hers looked the same. I have always ordered the same thing and was never able to finish bc there was so much. This was very disappointing and for the higher prices.

Stopped by for a quick to-go meal with my boyfriend right before close. I believe the owners were working the front, & they were SO sweet & attentive! They gave us complimentary drinks while we waited & updated us on our food. We got soup & salad with our meals, the portions were perfect, & the food was amazing! Will definitely be coming back to dine in!

There was a BIG ROACH that fell into my aunts lap AS we were EATING. LAYING on her lap on her jacket. We sped out and all three of us were throwing up in sickness over the food and what we just saw. The employees couldn’t give a care in the world and the shrimp made my sister sick. DO NOT GO HERE TO RISK BUGS IN YOUR FOOD AND IN UR NAPKINS!!

Normally my wife and I love this place. But it seems lately the service has gone downhill. Didn’t get the soup and salad with our meal when the rest of the table did and they even messed up my order. I ordered Steak and Chicken and got Steak with 3 shrimp. This was the last time we will go there, it’s also now overpriced for what you get, it’s really disappointing.

Quality has gone downhill at Hibachi 97. My family and I used to come every Christmas Eve as a tradition. We returned this past Christmas (2021) while I was in town. The four of us were seated quickly, but the waitress was slow getting our drink orders out. There were only 2 full tables seated, including us, while we were there. The chef was lackluster and didn’t do the onion volcano that used to be standard. Soup and salad tasted fine, hibachi vegetables were ok. My shrimp and steak hibachi were not as good as previous years. I don’t know what changed, but seems the restaurant has cut back on a lot. We specifically came for the entertainment while our food cooks, but may look elsewhere for our hibachi tradition.

This place is very slow. They have very bad service. My uncle was trying to ask for more butter on his meal, but the chef ignored him and continue to cook the rest of the meals. My uncle yelled and raised his voice multiple times. The drinks took forever to come out, we ordered the drinks when we got there, they did not get to our table until when almost our food was finished. This is very unacceptable, I do not recommend this place, it’s is very slow and has very bad service.

We called days ahead and made a reservation for over 20 people. When we showed up, they were shocked to see us all come in and very unprepared. They had one, JUST ONE chef there. We filled 3 grills. They had 3 employees to start and called in another guy when we were close to finished…at our table. The rest of our group was just ordering. The food was small portions and not a lot of flavor. Chef didn’t get order right from waitress and seemed irritated when we tried to tell him what all it was supposed to be. The veggies are a joke…we will NEVER dine here again.
