This restaurant may not have the most impressive presentation, but it is a hidden gem for authentic Chinese cuisine. The chef and owner, Mr. Kong, formerly owned the well-known Little Szechuan Restaurant on Buford Hwy. The dishes here are all about authenticity and flavor.

Ordered here for the first time and the new owners, Kong and Steven, were super nice and welcoming! I found out that Kong was the owner of my favorite restaurant Little Szechuan, that is now HiPot on Buford Hwy. I am looking forward to all of my favorite Chinese plates. I highly recommend the crab rangoon

This is a best kept secret. The food is excellent. Not greasy, good portion size, fair prices. Love the black bean chicken. General Tso chicken is terrific also.

Unassuming atmosphere. New owners, Kong and Steven, are turning out delicious food and friendly service for the few tables available. Kong, formerly owner and chef of Little Szechuan is doing things his way once again and the food is delightful. Most business at present appears to be take-away so if that option suits you, confidently indulge.

This place was delicious. I ordered the Szechuan beef with hot and sour soup and wasn’t disappointed. The soup had a tanginess to it which I liked as well. The lady working tonight was friendly so a great rounded experience. I’ll come back to this spot.

My family and i have been fans of Chef Kong Ko for more than 20 years. We are so happy he has opened a take out restaurant with the same wonderful dishes we love. My favorites are dumplings, noodles, szechuan beef, eggplant, green beans, anything in black bean sauce(!) and shrimp egg foo Yung. Chef Kong makes everything from scratch and with love for hia customers. See for yourself!

We have known Chef Kong Ko for more than 20 years and were loyal patrons of his previous restaurant, Little Szechuan. He and his new partner, Stephen, have assumed ownership of Hibachi. Finally, our family can enjoy once again some of our favorite dishes by Chef Kong— pickled bean sprouts, pot stickers, General’s Chicken, beef with Chinese broccoli, beef hot pot, green beans with pork, shrimp in spicy sauce, orange beef, vegetable lo mein, chicken in black bean sauce, moo goo gai pan, and more. Hopefully he will soon be able to expand the menu to include some of his best fish dishes, snow pea leaves, shrimp with leechee nuts, A vegetable and more!

I love the jumbo shrimp fried rice. It’s excellent. Always fresh for me. And the owner is so sweet. I haven’t been there a long time and she remembers me. Very nice .

Chicken chow mein was disgusting. The noodles were soaked completely through from a less than two minute drive home from the restaurant. Not a crunchy one in sight. For some reason instead of putting them in a separate container like every other restaurant, they soak them with what looks like chicken soup. When I called to complain, the restauranteur seemed to refuse to believe that I know what chicken chow mein is, and seemed to think that I wanted soft noodles and was mad that they were crunchy.
