Eating with Crystal
First time in SF eating at Hi-way burger & Fry. Was absolutely good and affordable. One double cheeseburger meal me and my husband split and shared along with their delicious Garlic fries. I’m also a photographer so I did a small clip and I’m running for Mayor of San Francisco 2024. Highly recommend for everyone including family. 5 stars will be coming back.

Had their cheeseburger and onion rings. I could taste the fressness of their ingredients. The burger was simple and classic. Not overly salty or greesy. It’s not eye-opening at first, but the more you make your way through your burger, the more you’ll enjoy it. Onion rings were a bit too sweet to my taste. The restaurant itself is clean with a cute retro vibe. I’ll be happy to comeback.

This is exactly what a road side burger should be. Perfect size, a sesame bun like the true classics and flattop smash burger done to perfection. Highly recommend and I’ll be back to try the Fried Chicken and other sandwiches

Good food! And good expirence, it was fun to get to eat the food and hang out with my freinds. They have burgers to chocolate shakes and great window seating into the neighborhood. It is also right next to a weekly farmers market. Such good people run it aswell.

Small comfortable cozy and family friendly restaurant that serves some amazingly fresh and tasty home cooked flavors!! The burgers were juicy, dripping with taste. Every bite was an explosion of flavors. Didn’t disappoint by any means, visit this favorite if you want a true slice of San Francisco.

Hard to resist “gatekeeping” this place. Jk I would never do that. I can only describe their burgers as “exactly what I imaging a classic American burger to look and taste like”. They are what you wish In n’ out tasted like. I am just not a big burger person but will actively leave my house to patronize Hi-Way burger just go. Get a single cheeseburger and fries. They also have a good selection of beers and canned wine.

It’s rare I would give 5 stars to anywhere, but it was exactly the hamburger that I I was imagining…. and the fries we’re just like you would make them at home. Seating could be a little bit cramped and there’s only one outdoor table. Parking is usually not a big problem and it’s a very nice neighborhood.
