just like most of the reviews. very expensive for what you get. they nickle and dime everything. service was average. guy looked sloppy and acted like he didn’t want to be there. I had the super burger. nothing super about it. very little mushrooms and onions. $11 Dollard for fries and $11 for onion rings. our bill was $120 for 4 people. we definitely didn’t feel like we got any value for what we paid for.

Waitress was fantastic. Famous herb burger starts out at an average price of 12 bucks but then add cheese and fries is another 7 dollars. What kind of a place doesn’t include fries?! Ordered med – well came back rare. Took at least a half an hr. To get the burger back now well done and dry. Asked for a free side of fries for the wait and mgt. Didn’t want to do it until I made a stink. Mixed drink for $10. Was way watered down. Good thing I paid cash because they add another surcharge for credit card. Never again.

Group reservation of 15-20 was managed so well that the entire party was quite satisfied. Food & drinks were fantastic (We ordered lobster BLT and clam chowder/wedge salad). Menu had many options including burgers–will try next time. Great service! Great experience overall!

It’s never been the same since Herb left (RIP) and other family took over management. Over priced and quality is not like it used to be. The wings are tiny and expensive. Burgers and fries get expensive. So sad, once a great neighborhood staple. Can’t even maintain online presence. Management apparently not reading reviews.

This place was fantastic! We had a large group (10) of out of towners and they were able to get us a semi-last minute brunch reservation. The service was superb, food was delicious. Even though we were a large party we felt attended to and everything came out quickly. Can’t recommend this place enough!

I LOVED this place! It’s got down-to-earth people working, and the inside looks like a bar, a stained-glass church, and a neighborhood hangout. If you’re looking for some of the best Clevelandesque food and a cool atmosphere, then this is your place! The prices were a little high, but honestly, it WAS WORTH IT.

What a weird dinner experience. We recently moved to Rocky River and have been told Herb’s is a staple of the community but has gone downhill since a recent change in ownership. I have tried going 3 times and each time they have been closed during normal business hours. We went for an early dinner on Saturday and were told they would be closing at 6:30.

We have had some great breakfast at Herb’s Tavern but the dinner was far from anything but less than average. Food was way too expensive for the portions that were served. Will stick with the breakfast but before go any other meals there.

Hamburger cooked rare even though we asked for medium well. Over priced. Management did not want to give us fresh fries when they remade our hamburgers. Wait time long, they were not busy on patio or inside. Never got back again .
