Food was delicious. We had the crab dip appetizer, seafood pasta salad and crab cakes with roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious and our sever Daphne was the best. Can’t wait to go back. I didn’t take a picture of the crab dip appetizer but it was delicious as well. Also get the balsamic dressing for your salad you won’t be disappointed!

We had dinner here on March 24, 2023. Beautiful clean restaurant. Our sharp server Kristen arrived with a big smile and exuberant hospitality. We ordered the fish and chips and fried chicken. Food was hot, fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. We love Frostburg and The Hen House is a can’t miss when in the area. Bill & Will from Baltimore ❤️

The Hen House is always great for amazing food and drinks. Every time I’ve eaten there the service has been great. Friendly wait staff and really quick to get the food out. Large portions are given and the house salad is delicious. I really enjoyed the Love Potion drink special.

The weather was beautiful with a nice evening breeze. Had a bowl of cream of crab which was amazing. I had a delicious burger and my wife had a chicken sandwich. The children has the steamed shrimp and fries. It was a delightful experience.

Server super nice. Chicken soup was very good, crab dip appetizer delicious, fried shrimp good, could use more seasoning, fried chicken very good but full of grease, stuffed shrimp was good but should be named smothered shrimp not stuffed. Even though my review says things could be better, the food was still good, in my opinion these things would just make them better.

The location and dining arrangement is probably the best in the county. Huge dining table and nice chairs. The food takes a good time to be prepped but is delicious. The downside was selection and there was no crab or lobster available.

Appetizers were great, seafood platter lacked taste, chicken was amazing, French fries tasted like they were fried in rancid oil. Service was excellent!

I would have taken photo of my fried chicken, but it looked so good and delicious that I forgot. So here’s the photo of the place. They are known for their chicken yum yum. Big serving for me so I took some home. And the service is excellent. Price reasonable.
