My first visit was great, the brisket was nice, tender and the greens were good. Second visit not so great, the brisket was not fully cooked ,I couldn’t even pull it apart. And it had a funny taste. I spent 25 dollars, So I took it back the next day . This time she gave me a sample and it was good. And she gave me a few free items and I appreciate it. But when I got back to work and tasted the brisket, it was nothing like the sample I tasted earlier. I was a little disappointed But will probably go back and get something different the next time to help a Black owned business. PEACE

This is a small restaurant with maybe 5 tables. The food was absolutely delicous (I tried pulled pork, BBQ chicken and Brisket) and the owner was extremely friendly and helpful as we were from out of town. He made some banana pudding just like my mom did and it sure brought back some wonderful memories.

Our apprehension grew the moment we heard the microwave open while we were waiting for the food. My fiancé and I looked at each other and shared an unspoken moment of fear as we heard the microwave start, and wondered which of the items on our combo plate were being reheated. Once we received the tray, my fiancé was able to confirm that the mac n’ cheese had, in fact, just been microwaved and was not fresh. The flavor of the potato salad wasn’t bad, but the consistency was a little too soupy. “The brisket,” in my fiancé’s words, “made me sad. It tasted like pot roast. Brisket should make you joyful.” The sausage wasn’t very warm and was extremely tough — it had the same microwaved, dry plastic-y consistency as the macaroni. The inside of the restaurant was cozy and had so much promise, but in my fiancé’s words: “I don’t know how they messed that up.” I took a picture of the sign they had out back and, I’m sorry to say, I think maybe they should go back to being a sweets shop.

The staff was pleasant and very quick to help you..their prices are lower than anyone else and what they serve is all delicious. The only thing I would have preferred was dill relish rather than sweet relish in their potato salad. The brisket and sausage is fantastic. You will be glad you came to this bbq. I highly recommend it.

I had never had food from this place before so I didn’t know what to expect. My order was delivered and the Peach Cobbler I had ordered was not in the order. I called and spoke with the owner to let him know what happened. The owner himself brought me the Peach Cobbler and even added a little bit more. I know they were probably busy at the lunch hour but he took the time to bring it to me. He apologized and was very kind. Their food was great. I enjoyed all of it. Some restaurants have gone down in quality since Covid but this place is worth trying. I really hope ya’ll will give them a try and give them your business. You won’t be disappointed.

Dined there yesterday for the first time. The brisket was outstanding, moist, flavorful, easy to cut. Best BBQ in Georgetown, hands down. The beans were the best ever. The slaw, so so. Small, unimpressive store, with few tables.
