Good spot for Greek food. The baked feta dip was great and the brancino was amazing. Great flavors and ambience but parking is definitely a pain in the rear and if you can find a spot you have to pay.

I was so excited to try this spot for a dinner date and was so disappointed to where we ended our dinner at appetizers and asked for the check to leave.

First time eating here and it was quite a surprise as the atmosphere was very nice but since the weather was beautiful, we sat outside and the food was delicious. We ordered a single gyro platter and chicken soulvanki over vegetables and everything was well seasoned and packed with fresh natural flavors and the desserts were also very good. Service was a little slow bc there was only one person but overall, still a place we enjoyed.

Oily food, terrible service and tried to charge $7 for extra sauce. I’d been to the one in the heights a few years ago, but this was inedible.

Elevated European cuisine in an unexpected location. Establishment is fairly small but pleasantly decorated inside. Menu has a variety of classic and unique dishes; everything we ordered tasted fresh and was well prepared. The attention to plating also made for a nice addition to the experience. Great place to explore European favorites.

This is definitely a hidden gem in Rice Village. From the moment you walk in until the moment you leave this place has a super chill vibe. The service is just right for this little Greek restaurant. The food is outstanding. I personally had the daily fish selection and it was very good. The fish was very flavorful, fresh, and very well spiced. The consistency of the fish was perfect flaky and fluffy. The housemaid dips are phenomenal. There chickpea dip was very fresh and tasty. Their pita bread seemed to be very warm and tasted like it had just come out of the oven. Their wine selection is not too large but very good. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice, homemade Greek food, relaxed vibe place.

Lunch at Helen was wonderful! Trio of dips (my favorite was the chickpea hummus, his was the red pepper hummus with feta), grilled octopus (Ohmigoodness… YUM!!) and catch of the day (snapper with delicious roasted veggies… All items were cooked beautifully, service was prompt and friendly.

The service has gone downhill tremendously. Came to grab lunch at a less crowded time and wasn’t even greeted by the host. Just got a stare until I said I had a reservation. Then we were seated, given water, silently, and forgotten for the forseeable future. Looked like only one person was doing all of the work, but with no sense of time. We got up and left because we knew we’d likely wait forever to eat and the food may not be good seeing how bad service was. So disappointed. I’ve been supporting Helen’s since they opened. Yikes.

Love this little, cozy spot! It’s perfect for a light, casual lunch, and a lovely ambiance at night for an intimate dinner for two, or a lively yet low-key spot with friends. Great selection. Their fries were a bit salty for my taste, but their Trio of Dips (spicy red pepper, warm chickpea, and refreshing tzatziki) is YUM ! I can, and have ordered *just* that. It’s delicious and you should try it . Their desserts are also light and not overbearingly sweet. Call ahead for dinner reservations as it fills up quickly.
