My wife and I visited Heimbaker’s today to see if their breakfast is as good as their deli/lunch/dinner options and the answer is a wholehearted YES! We started with the cinnamon roll (huge enough for 2 people to share) and a 20 oz cold brew coffee.

Very cute little deli style sandwich shop. They have a shop with so many delicious items like preserves, habanero pickles, salsas. I’d definitely recommend the pickles.

Awesome little bakery with deli style food. I had the Italian Hero sandwich, and it was delicious, the bread was warm, and all the ingredients were very fresh.

Ok this place is a hidden Easter egg, the food and staff are awesome, had a burger, OMG it was next level, probably the best burger I have had in Roanoke. Wife had the patty melt now I need to go back to have one of those.

This is such a cute shop and they do have pretty decent food. I love the peach ice cream and the tuxedo cookies. Those are my favorites. My brother loves the sandwiches here. I’m not huge into deli sandwiches but when I have eaten them they have been fresh and pretty good!

Food is delicious, and you get a lot for your money! The Italian cut meats are the freshest in the area. PokeyOs is inside, so get a fresh-baked-cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert. There’s a candy corner, a market full of locally-crafted Texas goodies (and more), farm fresh produce, and plants & herbs for sale. Cozy indoor seating complete with games for kids, and a welcoming patio. There’s also wine & beer.

Super cute little stop with scooped Blue Bell. We cooled off in here during the Roanoke 4th of July celebration and it was a good choice! The kids enjoyed ice cream while the adults enjoyed (very reasonably priced) bottled drinks. I had never heard of this place so I’m glad we ran into it!
