So the foods taste was good, but they got both the cook of the burgers wrong (asked for medium rare and got medium) and the fries were the wrong kind. Plus the fries weren’t fresh and a bit soggy (checked in the car after getting it). We were 5 minutes late getting our food, but in those 5 minutes, fries shouldn’t get soggy if they’re made fresh.

Wings were excellent, staff was great and worked their tails off. The shredded pork wasn’t good at all (cold and no sauce). Burger was above average and the pizza was solid but WAY too much cheese. And I’ve never said that in my life.

Foods good and Atmosphere is that of a bar. But the waitress I had was horrible. I watched her serve bigger tables more then the table for 2 orders. Just working for bigger tips I guess but what she didn’t know I tip very well if you do your job!!!! Other waitress was amazing!

We had an excellent meal and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant / sports bar although we sat at a booth in the dining area. The staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. This place definitely has the feel of the hidden jewel and we’ll look forward to stopping in during our next visit to Spruce Pine!

Delicious! I had spinach salad loaded with toppings and hot wings, fresh and perfect. My husband had a chipotle Bleu cheese burger with a huge patty and perfect medium. He thought it could be more chipotle flavor but was otherwise very good. Our waitress Amy was super nice and told us about how freshly made all the foods are. It is a bar and restaurant with modern decor.

Great food, friendly staff, however their prices are very expensive…. I about fell over when I seen the bill. $31 for a 18 piece of boneless Wings and $0 .50 per ranch & blue cheese. Applebee’s has all you can eat for $12.99 & Coach’s has them for $14.99. I know prices are very high but dammmmm !!!!

I dragged a large group here for a low key place for us to hang out. Staff was great. Our server was a doll with a thick accent, which was fun for the guys who were all from up north. Food was much better than expected. The guys who ordered the fried Oreos gave them high praise. Positive experience.

Great food and amazing staff. Handmade burgers. I ordered 2 patties with chilli with a side salad. Both were fantastic and they didn’t mind the extra request (and added left is if I wanted to wrap it). We will be back soon to try the wings.

Well I guess I’m the odd one out on reviewing Hef’s. I’m not from the area but stopped in for some beer and wings and it’s the only time I have ever sent wings back. They were honestly a pretty sad excuse for “famous wings”, completely unseasoned, not crispy at all, and it looked like the kitchen staff had just dumped a bottle of sauce on top of them after putting them in the basket. The beer was cold though!
