Heff’s is in downtown Winston Salem. There is some parking on the streets nearby but plan to come with quarters for parking meters. I came about 3pm and didn’t have any issues with parking.

This place had one of the most delicious burgers I’ve had in a long time. Well seasoned and cooked, I mean just look at the picture, the bun is glistening for goodness sake. Now let’s talk about the perfectly cooked crispy seasoned fries! Very good. Let’s just say nothing was left but the basket.

I arrived here around 2:10pm on a Saturday afternoon after leaving work. There was a line of about 10 people in 4-5 parties. I got to the counter and finished ordering at 2:21pm. I was told it would be ready in about 10-15 minutes.

By far one of the coolest looking burger spots in Winston Salem and the burger is untouchable.

Finally an old skool burger joint. Classic smashburger on a sesame bun with crispy bacon. CRISPY BACON! The burger was wide, not tall. I had the “Piggy Wiggy”, my gorgeous had the “Heffy Baby”, of course we shared. I would like to see a plain fry option. The fries are good. I can only guess how much of a delicacy this would be at 2am after a club night!

I’ve heard lots since Heff’s opened (especially since my wife has the same name san one f) and was excited to be able to try it out. I convinced a friend to come with me (he was sold at “new burger joint”) and we went on a week night.

Love that they have pop ups for other companies and that they have a pride flag. Beyond that, the food is average, very greasy, a la carte, and overpriced. You can’t get a burger and fries without spending at least $20 and there hasn’t been a single time I’ve eaten here and not left nauseous. Any special burger barely has toppings on it. I had a paddy melt that was essentially a cheeseburger.

The burger had great flavor, actually it was so tasty I’d like to see just a plain cheeseburger on their menu (sorry no build your own). Their homemade sauces were a little to tangy for me and im a sauce guy.
