I recently visited Hecter’s kitchen and simply stated I didn’t like the banana pudding but the cake was delicious to the waiter. The manager came out of his office and started making disrespectful comments about if the dessert is free why would someone complain about it. He stated several other rude comments loud so I could hear since I was eating in the dining area. This is unprofessional and wasn’t necessary. If a customer says that a dessert isn’t that good at least take the criticism and let the person that’s preparing the dessert so they can try to improve it. I won’t be spending my money anytime soon here. The food is good and the price is reasonable but don’t let a customer hear your comments because you can’t take criticism. Oh well. I will spend my money else where where my opinion and feedback is taken serious.

I went to Hector’s for lunch with my coworkers and the service was excellent! I ordered the Raspberry Salad and substituted the chicken for shrimp and they were able to accommodate. It was delicious, and fresh! I also ordered the Asian Salmon and my husband loved it for dinner! My coworkers ordered the Salmon Salad and the Lasagne both enjoyed their food. The price was excellent, it also included a free drink and desert.

You get plenty food for the money. Staff is always pleasant. Doesn’t take forever to get my food. I’ve only had the Turkey BLT so far, but a great sandwich. Will definitely try other things on the menu.

I found out about Hector’s from a few co-workers–the restaurant is sort of hidden, near the Curb Market. On my first visit, I stopped by to request a last-minute pineapple cake (9-inch) for a belated birthday gathering, and I was able to pick it up the very next day! It was quite tasty, I’m guessing the icing was some sort of butter cream, but it wasn’t overly-sweet, and there were pineapple bits inside of the cake as well. The two gentlemen who assisted me (sorry, I didn’t get their names) were nice and helpful as well.

I got the chicken wings, Mac and cheese, and buttermilk pie. Everything was good and chicken wings were hands down the BEST wings I’ve had in a looooong time! So crispy, the right amount of heat in the hot sauce, and a great amount of chicken on each wing. Also the service was superb- even held the door for me when I left. Great experience. Can’t wait to go back.

I have eaten at Hector’s quite a few times. The food was pretty good for me to return. Last week my coworker and I went to eat breakfast at Hector’s. My turkey sausage was under cooked. My co workers waffle was brick hard. When I called to speak with them about the food They were very rude. The manager asked me “What do I want him to do about it”. Then rather rudely stated “The sausage is not cooked here. I will return the money to your card and hung up the phone. Great customer service and a Great manager would have offered me a free meal or even to recook the food we ordered. I will NEVER eat here again. Customer Service is everything.

Ordered the 2020 Burger Week special for $10 and got a ton of food! The mac and cheese was good, but the poutine, crawfish beignets, and regular beignets were outstanding! Food traveled very well as I ordered it to-go, and the employees were very nice. Looking forward to ordering from them again.

Once I discovered Hecter’s, I have returned multiple times. This guy is a five-star chef making meals to satisfy my small budget. Will visit whenever I’m in the area. I’ve tried everything from salmon to wings to hamburgers. Nothing has disappointed. Enjoy!

Everyone was so pleasant and inviting. The owner is hands on. I got the buffet…man oh man! I was humming while eating. My favorites were the fried fish, sweet chili wings, macaroni n cheese, green beans and COCONUT CAKE!! ANNNNDD the Arnold Palmer drink….oh i should’ve eaten in so I could eat more!!!
