Wonderful restraint. The food we had was good traditional food but with their own twist. Cheese steak was on a huge ciabatta roll. Wraps were also quite good. Sat outside overlooking the water and golf course.

Men and women restrooms were filthy. We left a plate a food, and they did not ask about why we did not consume it. Place was dirty, spider web is in all the windows. The baseboards are dirty and in need of repairs. Good parking space available.

Unfortunately after reading a lot of the reviews I have to rate this place a 2/5 stars. I thought the food was excellent but service was absolutely terrible! My husband and I just wanted a nice evening out, our waitress got our food and drinks in a relatively quick manner but when it came to the bill it took about 30 minutes. Finally when the waitress did drop it off (in a hurry) she said she would be right back. After an additional 20 minutes of waiting she never came back so we paid with cash. The bad news is we left a pretty hefty tip because we didn’t have any small bills, but really didn’t want to wait any longer. It’s a shame because the food wasn’t bad but maybe the wait staff need more training. Also I didn’t know they have an outdoor seating area, but we never got offered we just sat in the bar area. And it wasn’t that busy. It’s very frustrating when you go to a place and are forgotten about.

Our server was very happy and accommodating. She knew the menu pretty well and was able to answer our questions. Being a bar atmosphere, there was a lot of noise. Food was good. The shepherd’s pie was great!

Absolutely, shocked about our takeout experience. The food and service used to be really good and fresh. Our experience tonight, not so much. Our kids boneless wings and chicken fingers were so dry you couldn’t even chew them. I tried the buffalo chicken Jimmie and besides the inedible dry chicken, there wasn’t any buffalo sauce or kick to it? They forgot my husband’s salad to go with his dinner entree.

Food was good. Place was very loud. We ordered the linguine Alfredo which was supposed to come with chicken or shrimp. We ordered it without the protein because the person eating it just wanted the noodles. It was supposed to come with salad and bread and we never got them. So basically we paid $16 for 1/4 lb of noodles and some Alfredo sauce. I’m also not a believer in an upcharge for using a debit or credit card. I understand there is merchant fees but $3 + dollars is outrageous. Ruined it for me this night.

This is a country style restaurant and bar buried in the Pennsylvania mountains. The food was very good and service exceptional. Atmosphere was comfortable and quiet. We sat in the rear part of the restaurant which is a dining room more for families. The front part is a bar restaurant and louder.

Haywoods is open 7 days a week! They have incredible daily specials, kareokee and bands on Friday nights, theme nights, cigar nights, fireworks etc. You can enjoy our beautiful deck and patio (we have the best outdoor seating in the area) the staff is friendly and truly care about their guests. Can’t forget about golf! I hear it’s the best course in Clinton County!
