The farm-to-table restaurant offers authentic southern fare and seasonal menus made with heirloom ingredients, local produce and sustainable meats. The 4,000-square-foot space includes a bar and lounge, private upstairs mezzanine, patio seating and main dining room. Haymaker is open Monday through Saturday for dinner service beginning at 5 p.m. and offers brunch service on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

If you’ve never been to Haymaker, you’re missing an incredible dining experience! We enjoyed the Octopus Carpaccio, Pan Seared Chicken and Beef Short Ribs – Wow! This chef is exceptional! The flavor profiles, and presentation were just amazing. We also had the pleasure of meeting their bartender, Justin. I had some incredible hand crafted mocktails – they were almost too beautiful to drink but absolutely delicious. Not your average mocktail either… these drinks were like nothing I’ve ever had.

First time visiting, and it was beautiful. My waitress was Lulu, she was very attentive & perfect! Everything came out in a timely fashion. The place is clean, Aesthetically beautiful. I had a great experience, will be back ♥️

Beautiful ambience and decor. The French toast was decadent but also fresh with berries. The egg Benton had a tomato gravy that really complimented the eggs. Would recommend for a formal brunch outing or as a nice date spot!

I’ve been searching for the best chicken sandwich in Charlotte and the Billy D has been on my list for a while. I finally made it in to give it a try. They pounded this chicken pretty thin, that’s not a plus. It had great crunch but just no flavor. It’s covered in slaw which is about all you taste.

The food was good, more pretty than tasty to me though, the bartender needs a raise, he’s the reason I give a four star, the drinks were superb, the location very nice and atmosphere, the wait staff was not very welcoming, you could tell she could have had a V8 instead of taking our order, I still tipped her well in hopes of her day becoming better.

If the hubby leaves hungry we usually don’t return. The $28 gnocchi were ridiculously small, and brought at room temperature. The pork shank was also almost cold, tender but on the dry side. The hamburger was very good, and the shrimp, while not peeled, tasty. We also had smoked wings, very tasty.

Amazing! We started with the biscuit with gravy. The DayTripper was a great drink, not too strong but strong enough. A little tangy but sweet too! The Bloody Mary had a really good amount of spice and “pepperey-ness.” The French toast was a 10/10. Not too rich and sweet, the whipped cream on top had hints of vanilla. The Shrimp A La Plancha was so thick yet still creamy. The whole meal was just perfect! The atmosphere was great as was the staff. Our waitress was very pleasant and quick! Can’t recommend enough.

I really enjoyed this place. I walked from my hotel so I can’t remember the parking situation. I ordered French toast and bacon. My friend got shrimp and grits. And we both enjoyed the spicy margaritas. The inside is SUPER NICE and well done without making you feel like you need to be super dressed up. I would definitely come here again.
