This was our first trip to this place, and It was one of the best sushi services we’ve received in comparison to the “high end” or “well named” places we’ve been to. Marissa was a perfect server, recommended a few great rolls, and seated at the bar. Watching the sushi chefs whip out the rolls and plates is a great way to experience the full atmosphere of Haya Sushi. We will definitely go back for more dinners and lunches.

Tried this place out after looking at the reviews and was not disappointed. The spicy garlic edemame was amazing, the tempura was good and the two rolls we ordered were also very tasty and one of them came lit on fire! Definitely going to become one of our regular spots for sushi

Ordered 3 rolls, the Rainbow, Dragon, and Bay Scallops. Also ordered the mixed tempura. It was a little more food than the two of us needed. Service was great. Restaurant was clean and the food was delicious! Much less expensive than expected. We both had iced teas. $64 with the tip. We chipped in $32 each.

I ordered and picked up the salmon teriyaki bento and gyoza for dinner tonight along with six other entrées. I spent over $100, and the salmon looked like it’s a small scrappy, throwaway piece of fish. It didn’t entice me at all. It’s so disappointing. I love the fresh fresh fresh sushi here! One of the very few places I’ve found whose food quality didn’t diminish and suffer over pandemic. I think this is due to the fact that Hiya Sushi never subscribed to all the mobile app delivery services like DoorDash, GrubHub, and UberEats, which was a pain, BUT also (I imagine) allowed them to retain a greater portion of their profit margins and continue to buy high quality ingredients. It really shows.
