Don’t bother making a reservation months in advance. As reservations were made for a large party for lunch after a memorial funneral service. Only to be informed by the owner less then 15 hours prior to the arranged wake dinner that the restaurant has no staff working that day and can’t serve our party.

Omg. Arrived at Hawiian Isle at 8:15 on Friday night 7-27-23. Told we could only order take out – Even though there hours are until 9:00!!!! Asked if we could get takeout and eat in the lounge-No!!! Could order a drink but no eating allowed! What the **** is wrong with this place! Worst unbelievable service ever!! How unbelievable … awful service! Hours are posted until 9:00- u should be able to order even if u walk in at 8:50!!! Awful!!!!

This use to be one of my favorites to get Chinese food been going here for years, last two times not impressed. Tonight’s take out had no flavor, the teriyaki was wicked tough and crab. Not worth the $80 bucks.

Went here for the first time last night. The food and service were excellent. I had the Moo Shi Beef, which was out of this world. The portion was HUGE and moderately priced. The inside of the restaurant makes you feel like you’re in another country. Will definitely be back here again next week.

My parents started coming here 15 years ago. We held my mother’s 55 birthday here of almost 100 people and we went every week for the greater part of the last 15 years until my parents moved to Florida. Every time they visit MA we go there again. My father always over orders and over tips. We called ahead for a table of 14 today. The place was overall empty. We asked if we could move the tables so that our party could sit in a way that we could all be together and the manager threw a hissy fit and ruined the lunch. It made the even so awkward. I hope my dad listens and stops being loyal to a place that clearly doesn’t deserve it.

We came here for dinner. I was home visiting family, and obviously you need to eat Chinese food while in MA. Came here because heard okay things. Right off the bat the sever was very rude, aggressively rude. To the point we thought we should just leave because he was annoyed we were in his section. The place was dead, and we planned on ordering a ton of food, so I mean it’s 5 pm… business right. He also rudely carded my sister, carding is not the problem.. once you’re over 30 please card us… it was how he singled her out and was once again aggressive about it. Food came out quick, tasted good, and then a cute mouse came and snuggled our feet. Of course we were shocked but also I mean it’s the food business, but we ended up losing site of it, and the sever came over and asked if we needed water. We said no and casually joked about the mouse running around . He disregarded us and pretty much shooed us out. Hefty bill, still tipped 20%. It was an experience for sure. Won’t be going back…. But Giving one star for not getting food poisoning:)
