This was a large size. This is less then what use to be the regular size. The regular size my friends ordered looked like the old small sizes. Something’s changed and I’m not sure why but portion sizes are much much smaller. Always liked this place but I’ll have to go elsewhere.

I really hate to do this because I love Hawaii so much but I was expecting a lot more. I paid over $12 for a meal of teriyaki half beef and half chicken and this was what I got. it looks like dog food. It’s as if they boiled the meat in the teriyaki instead of grilling it and getting a good crispy sear on the meat I mean it was really bad. Go to NoHo’s!!!

Great portions… Fantastic flavors ( volcanic beef and hula hula chicken)! Coworkers also said/agreed the Mac salad and other flavors ( spam, pulled pork) were spot on. I’d definitely go here again. Highly recommend.

I am downgrading my overall review not because the food isn’t good, but because NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE! For the last several months, whenever I’ve called to place a pickup order, the phone has literally never been picked up, and I get a generic “Mailbox is Full” message. I can only imagine how much business is being missed out on by the phone’s not being answered. We only ever get food to go here (when we can actually get any), but haven’t for the last several months because no one will pick up the phone. Maybe the phone number was changed and no one updated the Google listing or website, but if that’s the case, that is something that really needs to be addressed.

I sent my husband to go pick up some food the number 11 and a 2 and he brought it back and it looked absolutely trashed inside not like how we normally receive it. Me and my husband both have long hair and while I was eating I found a piece of hair in it. I was shocked because it was Way to short to be mine or his. I don’t mind a sloppy presentation because sometimes it could really be a bad day but a hair?!. Really was disappointed with my visit this time. The people are amazing but I never thought I’d be eating someone’s hair.

The food is great, if you can manage to get ahold of them to place an order. For 3 years now, I have been unable to place an order over the phone at the Riverside location. It rings once then goes completely silent. I have repeatedly asked them about this via Facebook messenger and they do not respond. Unfortunately I won’t be coming here anymore.

I got the spam plate, it was really disappointing, I was hoping for a spam musubi vibe. And like, I was really hungry and not feeling picky. The spam was hot but not really grilled? And it seemed more salty than I would expect (and I mean, it’s spam). The macaroni salad was definitely different, kinda made me think of pesto?

Got the #3 Kalua Pig, Large and #7 Hawaiian Chopped Steak, Large. I wanted the #1 Honolulu Noodle Mania but they were out of noodles. This meal really needed the noodles and especially the vegitables that come with the #1 but that’s covid times for you.
