Hawaiian Drive Inn used to be really good. The fried fish plate $11.50 felt flimsy and the taste was missing good fried fish characteristics. For example, they used their tonkatsu breading. They should have chose a lighter flour batter with beer and sparkling water to make a nice, light, crispy piece of fish. The pieces were on the small and thin side, meaning I’m eating more batter than fish. A batter that I didn’t care for. Service was fine.

Very friendly. I was surprised to see two dishes that were included on their menu (1) Chili mix plate and (2)Kalua pork. Tough decision but, of couse I had to order the Kalua pork. Broke da mouth good brah!

Nihilistic Tragedy
Quality of food is amazing! It’s fresh and made to order. Two double cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and 2 cokes cost less than$20. You can’t even get that at McDonald’s. Hit up this for chain… I swear you’ll be satisfied and then some!

Great food just like L and L but family owned which I like. The mini meals are great because you get a lot of food for almost half the price. I ordered two mini meals and a drink for under $20 but the lady did advise me to just ask for half and half on meat.
