A hidden gem on the Island…cuisine by Chef Gabby O! Service is great, sunset views are unbelievable! The food is prepared with skill ….perfect blend of spices. I recommend Haven…you will see why we live here! And for a light cafe’ style in Lago, the Chef also opened More’.

The Haven…. The Views are Beautiful and the Staff is more than Great! I live in Lago and this is my Go To Restaurant! Menu is Supurb! The Ribeye is Fantastic, and the Fish Tacos and the Raspberry Cheesecake. If you are from the city the drive is worth it. And the Prices are much less than what would be expected for the Quality and the Service. This is a perfect place to sit on the patio and watch the Sunset and enjoy a nice glass of wine. Chef Gabby is a Master of Her Craft! Everyone needs a night out of the city come to Lago and enjoy the Serenity! Huge Bonus….there are plenty of condo rentals for a cost effective getaway at The Island.

Good quality food, reasonable prices, and prompt service. If you have been to their other location ‘More’, it is very similar but with a better view. Not sure how you would get in if you were not staying at the island as there is a gate. For those staying here, it’s very convenient. I don’t think I would travel here just to eat.

This place is a great addition to the community. The convenience of being on site is even better, walkong distance. We had the fish tacos, they were great. The chips with the queso and salsa are cooled fresh, no bag chips. Atmosphere is nice and casual, really transparent. If there is a special event, then of course you can dress up your night.

This lovely restaurant once served delicious food. The quality has been going down. The last time I had eggs Benedict the Canadian bacon was more like lunch meat…..it used to be fantastic! Thursday night we had three burned hamburgers with lukewarm fries and a tasteless pizza. I like pepperoni, but this had no flavor. Please go back to the way it was when you first opened…..we need you at The Island.

Our neighbors in Lago Vista had raved about “The Haven” and everything they said was true. Wonderful place to dine. Supurb menu and outstanding entrées! Fish and chips at sunset were fabulous. Prices very modest for the quality and variety. Best experience yet since moving to Lago Vista.

Great potential if it was open more than 2.5 days a week! Lake View is good, service is extremely slow. Food nothing to drive out to the island for. If someone was really in the resturant and bar business this would be a good lease opportunity!

It appears this is for island residence only, although not indicated anywhere online. We tried calling well within their business hours, but it went to a voice system which recited their hours (they were supposedly open). There is no signage on the drive in or contact information at the island gated entrance. In the end, we drove a full hour one way for nothing. The view looks like it would be spectacular.
