The views outside of the restaurant are just absolutely amazing. there are picnic tables set up outside where you can sit and wait or walk around and look at the beautiful sun/sunsets, boats, etc. this is a pretty busy restaurant. when you arrive they ask for your party name and will text you when your table is ready. The food was pretty good and overall the atmosphere was good as well. We stayed at Durant station in Cape Hatteras and this was literally less than 10 minutes away! The staff are great And they also have a bar if you would like to order drinks and hang outside while waiting for your party to be called! ️. The restaurant is also wheelchair accessible and has a ramp up to the front door. There is ample parking as well.

HIGHLY recommend! BEST dining experience in a long time. 2 hour wait was more than worth it! From waiting at the bar outside with wonderful drinks, appetizers, fresh fish, deserts and then more drinks and to top it off… the scenery, sunset and over the top service!!

Food was delicious and fast. We showed up around 6:30 and told about 15minutes, turned out to be 5. I had the Red Drum special and my Husband had the seafood Alfredo. We also had the clam strips for an appetizer and all was fast and just delicious and full of flavor.

The food is delicious but it’s hard to find a dish without dairy- mashed potatoes or a pasta without a cream sauce. The view is beautiful, especially at sunset. Hostess that calls you when your table is ready is slightly irritated if you aren’t on property while waiting over an hour for a table.

Such an amazing experience! Even if the wait is longer you can sit at the outside bar which is what we did. Great atmosphere and very reasonably priced drinks. When we got called, the hostess was warm and welcoming. Even on a super busy night, our food was fast and everything was hot. And delicious. Mary was our server, she was very warm and very very professional! She made our night for sure. Highly recommend!

The decor and ambiance are great but extremely disappointing culinary experience. The main courses came 30 seconds after the appetizers. To the point where we ran out of room at the small table. The crab cakes tasted as if they were made from frozen store crab cakes. My kid’s chicken was raw in the middle. The waitress was good and none of this was actually her fault.

Awesome experience. SO glad we gave this place a try! We ate here on a Friday night. Last night of vacation. There was a wait when we arrived at 8pm. We went to the back patio and the excellent bartender took care of us and there was live music. They said it would 40 minutes but the ‘buzzer’ went off after 15 minutes. We sat at one of the bar high top tables.

No matter how long they say the wait is, just wait. I have been in tons of great restaurants, none compare to Sol. This was the greatest meal I have ever had. The whole family agreed. Everything was amazing. And honestly the best of whatever was order I’ve had. The calamari was out of this world. I had the seared Grouper with sun dried tomato basil pesto, and it was without a doubt the best fish I have ever had. My wife and I were discussing and agreed this was the best meal we have ever had. The staff was very friendly and relaxed. Unbelievably quick service, just amazing all around. Now I am plotting reasons to go back to Hatteras just to have dinner there.

Awesome atmosphere and service! We were seated immediately and greeted by an amazing server. (I’m sorry, I forgot her name but I asked her for the sweetest red wine they had.) We will definitely come back! We ate the grilled yellowfin tuna, banana fosters cheesecake and pickled fried okra.
